First of all, the most important thing... the hot water spa is no more... it was closed down because of its cost. This means that the top attraction of the hotel is gone... Secondly... the swimming pool does not operate... Thirdly the hotel is open but it looks like it's shut... it's like staying in a deserted place. On the... More

If you are an entomologist, you will love to stay there. Otherwise, all the other comments are true and it even got worse and worse each day. Lots of ants running around, cockroaches dancing on your bed having a big party and you will be allergic to them afterwards. If it is possible on tripadvisor, we would give zero stars.... More

Plainly the hotel has seen better days and some reviewers have dwelt on this. When Burma/Myanmar is again a top tourist draw then this hotel will come into its own. Its remarkable value, the staff try hard, the rooms are ok, the hot springs pool is a fine place to relieve the aches of economy flights and the drive from... More

Stay well clear folks of this hotel. Every room, hallway etc in this hotel has a foul, musty, mildewy smell that absolutely stinks to high heaven. The prices are high 1700baht p/n, mozzies everywhere,4-5 thai tv stations. Complete waste of money. P.s the doorway to the bathroom from your room is only about 178cm high and you crash into it late at night... More

Surrounded by nice forest jungle, there is clearly some romantics living in old concrete building. We stayed one night only on our way to south. Everything is quite old, outdated and shabby in this place, quality of beds and equipment could be better etc. it can be survived one night but living longer may be a challenge.

Booked into this hotel by accident, should have been the other Jansom spa, overlooking Myanmar. Arrived and realised mistake, but was shown to room. It was appalling, it stank of damp, carpets were dirty, stained, torn. We tried three other rooms, on different floors, but they were all the same. Called the manageress and amazingly she, the receptionist, and the... More

Rooms are clean and large with hot spring water in the tabs. Sheets were nice cotton. It is old and could use a bit if an overhau. l
