Spent an incredible three days with my wife and was absolutely blown away by the entire experience. From the airport pickup, the greeting at the hotel, the beautiful room overlooking the Golden Triangle and the elephant area to the fantastic Italian food at Baan Dahlia, every moment is exactly what you'd expect from Anantara. Make sure to take the elephant... More

With hotels of this quality you naturally expect to pay premium prices but we are just not sure whether this one represented value for money. Our previous stop was The Rachamankha in Chiang Mai which we judged to be both outstanding and good value and after a couple of weeks in the country we felt we had some idea about... More

We spent two nights at this resort, and we will never forget them! From the moment arrived, the service was excellent. We were given a most gracious welcome at check in, and that set the tone for our stay. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. And most amazing was the ability to see and hear elephants from our balcony.... More

This was our favorite hotel in our 14 day trip all over Thailand. It it simply a magical place. Service was excellent, room was beautifully decorated, food was amazing and views were unforgettable. We did the half a day mahout training and that was worth every penny! It was once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend the mahout training... More

we loved this hotel where we took advantage of their 3 country trip, visiting Myanmar, Laos and of course Thailand in one day. I took the private cooking class, visiting the local market with the chef and cooking a gourmet meal of my choice in their special test kitchen. The staff were helpful and attentive. The fascinating Opium Museum is... More

I spent only 4 days, but could have easily spent more. This part of Thailand is so beautiful and this Anantara is just amazing. My room was on the ground floor on the baby elephant side of the resort. When you walked in you right away felt at peace. The room was big and comfortable with a great bed. My... More

We spent two days at Anantara during a two-week visit to northern Thailand so we could experience the elephant camp and learn more about Black Ivory coffee. We reserved the Discovery Experience in a Deluxe room, which included meals and beverages, minibar, transfers, and one activity per day. The hotel and grounds are gorgeous. The indoor outdoor spaces have local... More

We had the most wonderful time at this hotel! We stayed for 4 days, and it really was so incredible. Staff - as we found all over Thailand, SO NICE, helpful and friendly. Room - we had a huge luxurious room. The bed could have fitted 4 people in comfortably. The bathroom products were a lovely, natural local product and... More

We finally found the hotel we have always dreamed of: the Anantara Golden Triangle in the very north of Thailand. Coming from the main road and driving through the hotel gate you are entering another world: green lakes, trees and beautiful flowers bordering the road, water buffalos grazing free on the lush grass and at the next corner you are... I can find little to fault at this luxurious hotel, sitting in what might look like a quite isolated position in the very north of Thailand: our suite looked out over the pool and across forest and rivers so that you could stare into Burma, Laos and Thailand itself from the balcony, with its day beds. The suite itself was... More
