This hotel is very well set out. It attempts to reflect an 'ambassadorial' feel and to a large degree it succeeds. Our bedroom was very comfortable and large enough. AC was fine, though not reading Korean it did take us a little longer to manage. Seating area downstairs was nice and allowed our group to meet and chat. The view... More

The reservation department is incredibly inefficient. I reserved three rooms Korean style at a very high price supposedly for a very special experience. It appeared that there was a mistake and the price was much lower. The rooms we were given were empty ,just walls and a television. In the cupboard there were a thin futon , a sheet and... More

Very well located hotel at the entrance of the park. It is worth staying more than one night just in case the weather is bed one of the mornings and you cannot see from the cabelcar going up the mountain. Breakfast should be much improved but service is good

We stayed 2 nights. Room was comfy but small. We had dinner at Abbey Road in the 9th floor and waited 40 mins for our drinks to arrive. Our fish and chips were tasty, but not worth the price. There was no dessert. If you charge top prices, then service and food need to be top class too. Breakfast however... More

This hotel is right in the heart of seoraksan, a unique wilderness area of South Korea. They describe it as the world's first theme hotel - I'm not too sure if that's true, but it is certainly one of the best. Most theme hotels are tacky and plastic. This isn't, they have spent a fortune placing a British feel in... More

I've been to Mt. Sorak several times. But this is the first time I stayed in this hotel. The view from my room(classic) was awesome. It rained during the night, which made the peaks so beautiful belted with cloud(fog?) in the morning.. It took less than a few minutes to the ticket office. You can start hiking very early.

the best place you can stay when you visit the national park; it is all about location, location, location. Further the staff is trying to be really helpful (when they speak english) and the food (BBQ or Breakfast) provides you with interesting options (at least from a European perspective). It is also definitely the worst hotel room experience we had... More

The hotel and rooms are nice enough. As some reviews have stated, maybe a bit over the top but that didn't bother me. Staff very nice and friendly and speak English well enough (and when they didn't bc they couldn't explain how the AC worked they came to the room to show us which was very nice). Location is good,... Chise this place because very few others in the area seem to bother eith english reservations. But what a quirky bizarre treat it was. Filled with collectables, trinkets, memorabilia and a stuffy image on old England. Unexpected and quite atmospheric. Stunning lication and very convenient to Seroak natuinal park (walking distance to entrance) which would save a lot of time... More

Other than hotel location, nothing really good about this hotel. Staff dont really understand english. Some of the lights are spoilt. Air-con doesn't work. Only provide 2 free bottled mineral water and need to pay for any extra bottles when tape water are not drinking water.
