The hotel and rooms are nice enough. As some reviews have stated, maybe a bit over the top but that didn't bother me. Staff very nice and friendly and speak English well enough (and when they didn't bc they couldn't explain how the AC worked they came to the room to show us which was very nice). Location is good,... Chise this place because very few others in the area seem to bother eith english reservations. But what a quirky bizarre treat it was. Filled with collectables, trinkets, memorabilia and a stuffy image on old England. Unexpected and quite atmospheric. Stunning lication and very convenient to Seroak natuinal park (walking distance to entrance) which would save a lot of time... More

Other than hotel location, nothing really good about this hotel. Staff dont really understand english. Some of the lights are spoilt. Air-con doesn't work. Only provide 2 free bottled mineral water and need to pay for any extra bottles when tape water are not drinking water.

Stale rooms with filthy carpeting and tired decor. Nonworking a/c. Worst beds I've ever slept on. Weird theme--Britain??? Why? You're in a beautiful national park in Korea. Go with it. I guess the location's the draw here. You're kinda stuck if you have to stay overnight.

Dirty carpeting. dirty walls. Weird-smelling rooms. Mattresses literally like boards. Antiquated a/c system and teeny bathroom. The whole British theme is just...wrong. Location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. Korea needs to rethink its tourism development and stop letting garish, mediocre hotels like this blot the landscape. Someone with real vision would come in and build... More

My kids and I were not impressed with this hotel. We did not enjoy our stay because it is old and very kitschy. The decor is old and we were on the sports floor- felt like a museum. The ceilings are incredibly low and when I took a shower - I felt like a giant. Bathroom is really tight. We... More

We stayed in an upgraded room with a great mountain view that had 1 double bed + 1 single bed. I don't know what the room type is called, and it was a bit of a confusing process to get the correct room because of the language barrier. We had 2 adults and 2 children. I originally thought they had... More

Stayed one night in the double room. View is average. Most suitable as a base for full day / half day hikes in the national park as the entrance to the park is just 5-10 minutes walk away. Service was good with English speaking and helpful staff.

Amazing views of Mt. SEORAKSAN! No doubt this would be the best accommodation if you're doing a hiking tour of the mountains. As the name suggests the hotel has an old grand English feel about it...the decor has been designed albeit sometimes over the top to project this British feel. Hotel is old and very run down and is in... More

We stayed for one night at this hotel. It is situated in a beautiful National Park, close to a cable car. From the outside it looks like a normal modern hotel. When you go in it is totally different, old furniture, piano, library a bit like a pastiche of an old English gentleman's Club. The wallpaper in our bedroom was... More
