We stayed here overnight after a day long travel around Sorsogon before we journey onward back to Manila. The host is friendly and accommodating. Rooms, linens and toilet & bath w/ hot shower are clean. The breakfast is simple but nice to have. There is an open space in front of the property to park your car. Kinda difficult to...

My best economical find in Bicol. Just a 5-10 minute tricycle ride from the airport. Walking distance from the cathedral, Small Talk cafe, Bob Marlin resto, grocery, etc. Owner was very friendly, buffet breakfast. It's a fusion of old, rustic & modern house. They gave us the attic room which gave us unobstructed view of Mayon while lulling in the...

I booked my reservation over the phone. Was able to talk to the owner Monday, to book my stay for the coming Friday and Saturday night. He confirmed my booking and since I am staying alone, he even said that he will give me a discount which I thought was really nice. I also sent an sms, and again he...

So the main reason why I stayed here was because a friend of mine recommended this hotel. She said the hotel was unique, affordable and had a strategic location in terms of the scenic spots (heck its smack right in the center of the city). Well everything my friend mentioned is true. The place though a few minutes (3 -...

Great experience here, the staff were very friendly and helpful, Balay Tinai has a unique feels to me between homestay and hotel, a family like feel without feeling too small or intimate. Hot showers, a wide choice of breakfast, free tea, coffee and drinking water are all highlights. As a wheelchair user I cannot speak for every wheelchair user, but...

My friend and I stayed here on Sept 20-21. This b&b is walking distance from Legazpi's city hall, near the airport and other commercial establishments. We booked a room for 2 for Php 1,500, which includes free breakfast. Room was clean and had the basics, tv, aircon and toilet and bath. We mostly only stayed here to sleep. The owner,...

Good place to spend some nights, tiny and comfortable, room are clean, breakfast included fresh fruits. Reception guy was very nice! You can fill your bottle of water for free. Even if the place seems in the middle of nowhere it is not far from center!

I always rely on the reviews of my fellow travelers in TripAdvisor and never been disappointed. Together with my college friends, we decided to have our vacation in Legazpi City to see the beautiful Mayon Volcano. Based on the good reviews, I decided to inquire in Balay Tinay. I was able to talk to the owner Sir Joe. After giving...

If you want a place to stay in Legaspi that is almost perfect, Balai Tinai is the best choice for the following reasons: 1. At Balai Tinai, you would feel very welcomed and would not hesitate to approach the staff for any query, be it about their services or about Legaspi City itself. Kuya Dave (one of the staff) was...

All things considered, Balai Tinay is the best place in the city to stay. You’ll be within walking distance to a coffee shop, supermarket, park and plenty of restaurants scattered about. It is also just a short ride away from the city’s bus terminal and airport. As for Balai Tinay itself, it is very clean and nicely arranged. Breakfast is...
