Took my Philippine family up to the Oriental for a swim and dinner on our last night in Legazpi. Great views from the outdoor balcony and pool. The menu looked great but they only serve basic menu on the balcony which was a shame. Reasonably priced menu and beverages.

Stayed at the oriental for five nights when visiting family in Legazpi. Overall was very impressed with our accommodations. The employees are all very nice and there to make sure you enjoy your stay. I could tell that management has spent some time training employees to give this level of service. I've stayed a number of places during my three... More

Our family stayed here for one night while taking a tour around Legazpi, and the first thing I noticed was that the place wasn't as clean as I thought it would be. I saw a small roach by our coffee table, and the bathroom looked like it must've been a week since it was last used. It wasn't as comfy... More

This hotel has the oldest & darkest towels considering this is the most expensive in Legazpi. I've been to smaller hotels but none have towels that look so unclean just like the ones they have here. They offer welcome drinks to guests but only seem particularly attentive to foreign guests, talk about discriminating one's own. They did seem to bother... More

I must say the only thing I love about this hotel is that it has spectacular views of the majestic Mayon Volcano as well as the bay area. However the hotel itself is poorly maintained. It rained inside the lobby, the showers in our room on the 3rd level had very poor drainage systems and we were told it was... More

Hotel lobby is not inviting because lights are off especially at the lounging/waiting area, hot and fishy. Some staff are snob. They asking 500 pesos deposit for Key Card make sure you don't lost it, bring it back to front desk when you check out with the leather pack otherwise they will ask you to wait while they checking if... I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a really good time. The only problem is no hot water and the wifi sucks... Besides that it an amazing hotel with a great staff and tons of amenities (pool, gym, bar, etc...).

Premier 5 star hotel in Legazpi but I'm a little disappointed. Interior and furnitures are impressive but cleanliness should be maintained in and out of the hotel. The room have a very unusual smell, probably because of the old carpet? The drain in my room (301) is clogged. No bidet in the bathroom. No wifi connection in most parts of... More

We came for a family reunion and everyone was present (my wife's side of our family). Hotel's facade was intense and I expected a lot. We appreciated front desk especially Patricia who was always happy to help. However, the facilities were not what we expected. We felt the aircon did not lived to par at 28 degrees Celsius only at... I spent my birthday weekend here at The Oriental Legazpi. This is the place to be if you want to see Mt. Mayon when you wake up. The staff of the hotel are well-trained and very accommodating. We stayed at a deluxe room and it was so spacious. The food is also very good. Laing with bagnet was the bomb!... More
