As usual with Serena hotels the standard is very high. We had a very clean and comfortable room overlooking the spacious gardens. A special mention for the bathroom which was excellent with a cubicle style shower . There is a good restaurant where we had an enormous dinner and breakfast. A good situation with helpful and friendly staff made for an enjoyable stay. As we had almost run out of local currency they kindly agreed to change a small amount for us.

We stayed at this Hotel overnight and used it as the first stop on the way to the Hunza Valley. The rooms were well appointed and the staff were excellent. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was excellent. We found the shop owner at the souvenir to be an honest man who advised us as to which Jewellery had imitation stones and which were genuine. This one from Serena did not disappoint. Keep it up Serena.

This hotel was the best hotel we stayed at during our travels through northern pakistan. Dinner was fantastic and breakfast was great. It was the only hotel which had a good cleanliness standard. Just beware of one thing if you try go directly to the hotel as a foreigner they charge you a different rate to what they charge locals. We tried to book direct with Hussain from reception and he quoted a rate 3 times higher than was advertised online. He said this was hotels policy which does not make any sense. So my recommendation is definately stay here but do not try book direct!

Best accomodation I've found during my trip; by far above the average level of the other hotel I've stayed in. Welcoming staff, clean room, plenty of choices for breakfast, complete menu and buffet at the restaurant

it is difficult to imagine a better hotel: beautiful, with a sense of, and love for detail that has few matches. Apart from perfect hotel service, what you get is true, authentic, heartfelt hospitality and a take and feel of the cultural riches of the area.

Overall experience was good. Parking and breakfast needs improvement. Lawns are well kept and managed properly. Cleanliness as excellent. Front desk staff and other staff were helpful and attentive. Will go again.

I usually stay at Gilgit Serena in summers but I visited Gilgit Serena for the first time in winter this year. Their bathrooms have been renovated (previously they were very cramped). Toiletries were available. Rooms were comfortable with good heating facilities. Breakfast was good and included in room rent. They need to open the parking space in front of the property rather than let guests park in nearby ground. Check out time is 10:30 am which is unacceptable. Most hotels have check out time of 12 pm and May extend it upon request. They need to look into this. Staff is helpful Overall it was a good experience.

We stayed at this property several times. It’s always refreshing to come here after visiting Hunza. It’s nice break. We stayed extra night than planned. It’s a beautiful property with huge gardens around. Rooms are renovated. Dinning room has breath taking view. Food and service is good too.

I had stayed here several times and every time it’s memorable stay. Property is refurbished. It’s outdoor lawns and gardens are just reason to stay here. Just amazing gardens. Beds are very comfortable. Washrooms are very clean and roomy. We were planning to stay one night instead we stayed two nights.

Excellent for both business and leisure - overall a happy experience. This hotel works as a unit and seems constantly striving to make the guests feel welcome and comfortable. Food is excellent. Left refreshed and recharged. There is however no gym facility.
