Having visited Pakistan in 1994 I never had time to visit the North. This is something I always wanted to do; especially Chitral. What lead us to the Hindukhush Heights was a mention in a book 'Heirs to Forgotten Kingdoms'. The author, Gerard Russell, stayed at this hotel during a trip to the Kalesh Valleys and spoke about the owners...

Hindukush Heights is a welcome relief to stay at in Chitral. The hotel is on the top of a mountain and gives you a panoramic view of the Chitral valley. The hotel is owned by a couple that are very hands on and live on the property. This hotel is a real treat to stay at because the owners ensure...

At last we reached our promised land- the valley of Chitral. We had been planning this trip for the last 3 years and we finally made it !!!! We got a royal reception when we arrived at the Chitral air port. We were then driven to the Hindukush Heights Hotel. On the way to the hotel I was glad to...

What a wonderful hotel. Siraj and all his staff are fantastic, and with a view from the rooms that could be a screens saver, make this a hotel a must visit destination in Pakistan. Great food, great company, nothing was too much trouble for the staff (even carrying 9 packed lunches up to 9000ft for breakfast)! Rooms were very comfortable,...

The staff very friendly, helpful and courteous. The first thing you see as you enter is the wall to wall glass door leading onto your own private balcony with a view of the Chitral town, river and mountain. There was a long desk and chair, with a large mirror on the wall. There were built in cupboards with plenty of...

Thank you. Yes, internet connectivity is an issue. The fibre optic cable reached Chitral through arduous mountain passes six months ago but it's benefit has not yet reached homes and hotels in Chitral. God knows how much longer it is going to take. Meanwhile our advise to guests is to come here with a Warid sim in their phones. That...
