Perfect getaway from the chaotic city life.. Perfect hospitality, food was awesome and place is clean. Close encounter with the wildlife was really adventurous. Also the walk around the village was awesome way to learn about the tharu culture and life styles.
We stayed 6 nights in Jungle Heaven. Krishna picked us up in Ambasa. Its a long drive but definitely worth it. (We did the busdrive in two days) Jungle Heaven has a peaceful garden with banana, mango and papayatrees and the room we stayed in was very spacious and cool! No need for airco. The food Razzaram cooks is delicious. We tried almost everthing on the menu :) We also did 2x junglewalk with Sibu and Razzaram and saw lots of animals; Tiger!, Rhinos, Monkeys, lots of different Deer.
The rooms are a bit aged, but they are pleasant and quiet in a green setting. Wifi works fine. The meals were only so-so and are not that cheap. Touts waiting at the road junction in Ambassa bring backpackers here for free by motorcycle. Jungle walks come expensive.
It was an awesome experience!! We lived there for 4nights and 5 days. Their guide sibbu was awesome and there manager krishakant were good. Sibbu has done an awesome work to give their best for finding tiger.
The care and cosyness oft the people and the place is excellent. Food is amazing - we got a fantastic three-course-menue every evening! Quiet location, near to safari and elephant ride. The perfect choice if you really want to get in touch with locals and Nepali culture!! Thanks a lot Krishna & Co for the perfect time at your place!!
