We stayed here after our very busy trip to Tibet. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed relaxing here. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained the terrace had great views out over the valley. The room was well equipped and clean. The food in the restaurant was good. Recommend staying here.
For those wanting a getaway location closer to Kathmandu, this place can serve as a good host. The owner and operator Premjee adds a personal touch to your stay with his cordial and warm gestures. The staff is polite and serve with a smile. Room service can be delayed, but you should expect that in a resort, especially one where a few hands cater to a good number of guests. The wing that we stayed in had very good rooms, clean linen, spacious balconies to enjoy the mountain views, clean and upgraded bathrooms and running hot water round the clock. The quality of food too was good. The spread during buffet lunch and breakfast is not impressive, but the good taste compensates for the spread. Worth spending a night or two at this place
This is a real gem. The fire is the focal point and fantastic. Gardens and flowers absolutely beautiful. Staff great and helpful. Rooms splendid. Views outstanding. Exceptional hotel and location. Recommend wholeheartedly
Stayed at this hotel for a week. Room cleaning was a hit or miss, but not a big deal for me as I don't need my room cleaned every day. The room was very comfortable. Loved having the outdoor area access from the room. The views are outstanding.
My husband and I stayed here for three nights. Our room was comfortable with a private patio and stunning view of the Himalayas. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was satisfying with gluten free options and lots of choices. Dinners were good with choices between a continental menu, a traditional Nepali menu, or many a la carte options. The soups were especially delicious! We were able to take a helicopter from here to Everest base camp which was the highlight of our trip. The resort offers many activities and spa choices. There are many steps but the resort now has golf carts to take you most places. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
