The Hotel is located near the downtown area of Bagan. So you can visit easily. You can rent the e-bike from Hotel. The welcome drinks and snacks are provided. The room charges per night is a little bit expensive but the average standard person may afford. Rooms are large and you can add extra bed. The pool are located in front of the restaurant. Highly recommended to stay when you visit to Bagan.

Love this setting! The hosts are just superb. Lots of extras to enjoy and nothing is too much trouble. How I wish there was more time to absorb their language. Enjoyed all the food and it was a privilege to discover this part of the world. Angela again was a star with all aspects of our visits and needs dealt with so calmly. The Marathon and the ballon flight surpassed all my expectations. The temple visits and village explorations are a must. Incredible skills to produce foods and handmade craft wear that you will treasure and marvel in its production.

This is a lovely little hotel in Began, with a large pool by the restaurant where you can sit on Sun loungers in the shade drinking a cold beer or having a delicious lunch. The staff are lovely, and while English can be a struggle it's perfectly possible to be understood and is all part of the Myanmar experience. You just need patience and not to be arrogant in expecting people in rural Myanmar to speak perfect English. They do a barbeque in the evening which was delicious, with lots of fresh fish and seafood perfectly cooked. The hotel has nice gardens and even has its own pagodas, just in case you haven't seen enough! The bathroom is rather dated but spotlessly clean and everything worked as it should, the much needed air conditioning was fine. Overall I found this a charming and friendly hotel, with lovely food and drinks, and a very welcome pool area.

We arrived as part of a small scale UK tour party. Met by non-English speaking staff. Allocated a ground floor room which offered no privacy as there were no net curtains. We moved to a first floor room which was slightly better but the bathroom is in serious need of an upgrade. Air conditioning is woefully inadequate. Breakfast is poor: under cooked eggs, no bacon have ask for it, no croissants some days, standard of English by staff virtually nonexistent (same applies to lunch and dinner). The ATM doesn’t work and the hotel can’t change foreign currency into local money. Told have to change outside hotel. Don’t rely on promotional photos of the pool area as they are totally misleading: a significant lack of sun beds, no shade anywhere as they have no parasols. Sewer smell by the pool and lots of flies. Happy hour is a complete joke: you have only a choice of two cocktails but they aren’t proper cocktails as you only get a thimble’s worth: one gulp and it’s gone. Staff are hard working and friendly but lack appropriate training. This is a fault of management: you have a crazy situation where the porters and some of the waiting staff speak better English than reception and management. Obviously some people are in the wrong job. This maybe a harsh critique of the hotel but if they want to attract western tourists they need not only to train their staff to western standards but also management need to up their game and apply these changes or give way to those that do understand. At the moment I would avoid this hotel like a tourist plague. One of highlights of our holiday was leaving this hotel.

Dear Sir/ Madame, Firstly we really appreciate your valuable review and we did prompt action after reading your review. We now upgrade our breakfast menu, cocktails and swimming pool. We also planned training for the staffs to improve more language skill and hospitality knowledge and then to get better ATM service. We do regret for your inconvenient stay and thank you very much for your honest feedback on us. We warmly invite for next visit and we try to be the best stay. Warmest Regards Operations Manager Myanmar Treasure Resort, Bagan

We stayed here as part of a tour booked from the UK. We have been in Asia for a month now and have experienced the good, bad and the pretty awful! Unfortunately this hotel comes in at the lower end of the scale which was very disappointing. Having said this, the staff are very attentive and helpful yet their exuberance is somewhat wasted as the hotel infrastructure clearly lets them down. In particular, the bathrooms are in dire need of an upgrade if only to try to get the water temperature working properly! The water is highly erratic and scalding oneself one moment and freezing the next just is not fun! The fact that one has to climb in to the bath is also not ideal and it’s one hell of a climb! 😩 The bathrooms are distinctly grubby too and for a hotel purporting to be 4*, this really is not acceptable. All of the above (including the “grey” bath towels) has been mentioned in prior reviews but clearly the management are not willing to make the improvements. Finally, we were the only guests staying yet were allocated a room up a flight of steps overlooking the back of the hotel; it does make one wonder why hotels don’t use their “better” rooms in such circumstances. Our room was also next to rooms which appeared to be used for staff so at times there was a fair bit of shouting going on - and also next to what looked to be a dumping ground for old beds and pieces of furniture! We certainly would not be able to recommend this hotel.
