We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel has a good location near some temples. However, the hotel looks old, it lacks maintenance in the rooms and the bathroom. They dont have wifi in the rooms and sometimes they turn it off in the lobby. The restaurant was ok and they also offered free breakfast. The hotel rents bycicles and...

Whilst I enjoyed my stay at Kumudara hotel, I can't help but feel it could've been so much more than what it was. It's the almost hotel, almost amazing but..... . The hotel is on a few acres of land, has a nice pool to enjoy after a long day temple hopping and has temple views from almost all of...

An overpriced hotel with bad level of service. Wifi is not working half of the time, breakfast is cold and some of the employees not kind at all, they treat you as a tourist, nothing but a source of money. It's sad as the location is really great next to pagodas and the swimming pool is worth spending time on...

This is a nice hotel, quiet, outstanding staff, beautiful setting with Stupa and temples visible a short distance from our back porch. The bed was too firm for my comfort, but many beds on this trip have been. The air conditioning at full was not quite cool enough but I like it cold (hot flashes). There is no WiFi in...

The location and view from the hotel is nice but the room was in bad condition (dusty and old furniture, broken soap holder, few lamps, some electrical plugs don't work, etc). The swimming pool water didn't look clean and wasn't transparent. Poor wifi that barely worked even from the hotel restaurant. With some renovation, this hotel would be great otherwise...

large rooms, nice furniture, fridge, swimming pool, very slow internet only in the lobby, decent breakfast. it can be very quiet if you're far enough from the lobby. overall it's a good option in Bagan, only downside : too many tourist groups.

Kumudara Hotel is akin to an unpolished gemstone which has yet to realise its full market value. Its location is excellent and its environment is beautiful. Located in a serene Farmland area and yet near to restaurants and surrounding tourist areas. Walking from the reception lobby to the room already give one the feeling of a relaxing holiday resort mood....

We chose this hotel for Valentine's Day. When we arrived we were greeted by a barely smiling and unfriendly staff. When we arrived in the room what a disappointment we had two separate beds, (double room requested). When we wanted to put our clothes in the wardrobe we changed our minds because it was in a dilapidated and dirty state....

The hotel has great location; it is situated near the bagan archaeological zone, nice garden and comfortable rooms. You can see that the rooms and the building were well planned by an interior designer. The swimming pool is very refreshing after the long daytrips. For the bagan trips due to the large distances, I would recommend to hire a scooter....

This hotel is a real mixed bag of good and bad, lack of upkeep being the major problem. We had booked superior rooms (the cheaper ones) and first rooms we were given are in a block facing the pool (200 - 210 or thereabouts). The rooms are spacious and but the bathroom small and very basic with a pedestal type...
