we booked through booking.com and got assigned a room in another building than the hotel one, where there is no wifi. the room had no window glasses, only blinds, humidity stains at the walls, yellowed and stained towels, air conditioning, shower with no hot water. cheap and basic, but not the best.

Hotel is nice, breakfast service is good and the people working there are really polite. I don't know why but the girls on the reception are always dead serious. Anyway, this hotel is in new bagan, close to the main street. In front / part of the hotel they rent different electric bikes. When I was there was like 4K... More

This hotel was booked for us, and we read the reviews when we learned where we would be staying. Some reviews led us to think we should book elsewhere, but as we were staying only for one night we though we would give it a go. We had a room next to the pool. It was very roomy and importantly... We had booked the standard double (outside the hotel) but it was so bad. Its smells like mold and dirty curtains. We was scared to be sick if we sleept there so we rebooked and upgraded to Superior room it was okay. Swimmingpool was dirty, greenstuff in it but nice to sit outside. The Staff was very helpful to book... More

I thought this hotel was going to be great. I got there at about 6am and the staff told me to go get breakfast which was a bit dull. I then hired a bike and came back at 2pm to check in. I was put into a shed out the back with no wifi, or hot water that smelled damp... More

The Bagan Princess Hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Bagan for our family of four (with 2 teenage children), and nicely situated on the main road between Nyaung U and Old Bagan. Rooms were nice and spacious, and a small continental-style breakfast (both European and local) was included in the price. The hotel also has a swimming pool,... More

i can't recommend this hotel. the pool was full of alge and nobody was inside. the tv didn't work and wifi was not very good. but the main thing was the atmosphere at this place. the staff was nice but the invisible manager ( it was only possible to talk by phone call ) was rude and unfriendly.

This hotel is absolutely horrible. The hot water is not working which definitely is a problem if there are outside temperatures around 5°C. And the pool is full of Algae and green plants, you can't use it. The Wi-Fi is never working and also the TV is out of service. The breakfast area is dark and I'm friendly and the... More

It would be easy to be critical of the Bagan Princess, but one has to judge it by Myanmar standards and, unless you are opting for the very few five star Western chains, mainly in Yangon, then this hotel probably stands up reasonably well against the local competition. Everything in Myanmar seems to come with a requisite layer of dust... More

Main rooms look nice, but what is not mentioned is that the cheaper rooms (still around $40USD/night) are located around the corner. These rooms have no working wifi and pretty poor handheld showers. More to the point, sleeping before 11pm is impossible as the rooms are behind a bar that plays very loud music until late every night. Definitely not... More
