Upon first impression this place is fantastic, however once we checked into our room it was a bit disappointing. The sheets were dirty and had holes in them, the bathroom had black mold growing on the ceiling, and we had an uninvited 'friend'. The walls were paper thin and we could easily hear our neighbors speaking at a normal tone....

I spent 3 nights here in January with my daughters. We arrived very early in the morning after long night trip and the room of course not available at 4am. But they were very nice, let us sleep in the lobby and then asap they arranged the room for us. Honestly the room was not perfect as we expected -...

As Local people did, I drove to Bagan with my wife from Yangon. But, arrived there, we hire e-bike (actually, e-scooter) from hotel: 8000 kyats for full day and half for half day. It really worked and I didn't drive my car unless very long trip to go. The hotel is in New Bagan, located near most of the places...

We were disappointed with his hotel in comparison to other ones on our stay with similar or even cheaper room rates. The rooms were tired, the bedding smelt damp and we felt dirty the whole time we were there. Our room was one of the wooden huts on the ground floor and our shower drained through a hole in the...

Maybe some of the rooms were nice but mine wasn't. The toilet leaked, the light switch and sink were coming off the wall and the bedding smelt damp. Hotel photos probably taken years ago when it was new

This hotel is almost something like a resort with different type of rooms. I stayed in the lowest category an it was ok. The bathroom was ok, Internet worked reliable and the breakfast was ok too. The only bad thing was, that one morning at 5 am really loud music came from outside and sleep was over. The staff was...

Nice temples ( 2 sisters ) on walking distance from the hotel. Also experience a bit the feeling of old days Bagan by visiting the remote tempels on the opposit site of the road at 2...

We really enjoyed our stay here - staff were always so helpful, even when it was raining they were there with umbrellas to ferry us to breakfast! We even spotted them relocating some of the loud frogs in the water features so they didn't disturb sleeping travellers (I quite liked the atmospheric noise but it was thoughtful all the same!)...

Kaday Aung is a decent mid-range option for visiting Bagan. It's in New Bagan -- a 10 minute walk from the main street of restaurants. The hotel is a bit more on the shabby side than it appears in the photos, but still nice enough and clean. We were amused at the campy, hut-like rooms with woven walls and platform...

Beautifully designed. Nice huts, Wi-Fi in the rooms, small but nice pool you can sit and read a book next or dip in. Walking distance from everything in new began. At evening can be quite noisy for there is some kind of animal living in the small pools, like horns going on all night. However it seems to be like...
