This is a great resort on the banks of the Aye Yarwaddy with beautiful views across the river, particularly at sunset from the river side garden. Very good, large rooms with balconies. Very comfortable and a good bathroom. The buffet offering for dinner and breakfast was very good and staff very helpful and attentive. Not quite so sure about the puppet show though!

The first and only bad thing - Our first impression - the staff at the welcome desk barely welcomed us and barely spoke to us about the amenities etc when checking in. We had to push for any info including wifi.
After that it was only positive from there. they were lovely when we were leaving. and when trying out the ebikes ( i could not use them so had to give them back) and when we had issues with WIFI and the card.
The room was stunning. Got an amazing view of the pagodas. The bathroom was lovely too. had some lovely baths. tv did not work right but we didn't mind. Few English channels anyways.
Pool area is gorgeous. plenty of towels if needed and had a lovely swim. Beware of the local jungle cat and her kitten. they are dangerous (in pics)
Had some amazing cocktails out by the river looking onto the sunset. One of the most amazing sunsets I have seen.
Walking around the resort is just beautiful and peaceful.
Breakfast was good. Dinner was good when we ate there. no issues at all. They try to provide entertainment with music or much to my sister's delight - a puppet show. Which was fantastic and learned a bit of the cultural history of puppets.
Would 100% stay again and recommend to friends.

I would not hesitate to recommend this resort. The service is excellent, the location great and nothing is too much trouble for any member of the staff who strive to serve you to the best of their ability.
Of particular note is Mrs Lay Nwe who is the head receptionist. A wonderful lady and a pleasure to meet. Your in excellent hands no matter what your need is !

Impressive resorts with clean and well laid out grounds, great service, friendly reception, nice breakfast in the restaurant and in a good location. The resort has wonderful river view bar and a platform to watch the river and the goings on. You can see the boats plying from the shores in the morning and probably get a good sunrise experience. The rooms were spacious with a good bed to sleep on. Each room has a sit out patio or balcony. I liked the breakfast spread in the morning. To take tours, the front desk can set you up. The prices are reasonable. One ancient pagoda is within the resort and a couple are within walking distance outside the resort.

Nice resort with a small pool, tiny gym and spa. Breakfast has a standard spread with some local food. Spa services wasn’t great and was expensive. Wouldn’t recommend spa. Overall a nice and clean resort although it is not new condition.

We loved our stay in the resort, especially the kindness of the people. The breakfast was nice and the restaurant ok. But our room ( not river view) was out-dated and the spacious bathroom really need a renovation. It really didn't accord to standards of a 4 star hotel. This was well compensated by the lovely location. To ben honnest, we would'nt recommend the hotel to others.

Had a horrible stay, the hotel is old and shabby. Mouldy walls, dirty bathroom and scratched floors. The hotel was empty due to covid19 situation, but we got stuck in a room with a view of a brick wall. Have tried talking to the management - very poor English and no will to make our situation better. Avoid it at all costs.

This is an old property with huge rooms. Nice location along the river. Easy to rent a scooter outside and visit the temples. The property does need a bit of a refresh though. Great evening happy hour along the river.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was clean and comfortable, our bathroom was clean but needs upgrading. The breakfast was good with something to suit everyone. Staff were fantastic. Swimming pool was excellent with good sun loungers We had a good view of temples from our room

The resort has its heyday, as I believe. Lobby is nice, restaurant is beautiful, room is spacious, but all look bit dated now. An upgrade, particularly on the rooms (room light is now too dim!!) as well as other facilities would certainly help. The buffet breakfast is just ok, in term of its quality and quantity both. I would give it 4 stars on the hotel grounds, 3 stars on the room and 3 stars on the buffet.
