Linda's homestay is a great place to stay if you want to experience authentic Acehnese food and culture, and learn more about its history. Linda and her son Teguh were wonderful hosts, and showed me around many of the interesting cultural, historical and religious sites of Banda Aceh. Their local knowledge certainly helped to make my stay here a really... More

My partner and I chose this homestay after reading all its good reviews. Unfortunately we didn't have the best stay. We just felt we were being charged way too much for what was provided. The room was clean and spacious but the bathroom had only cold water. Breakfast was ok but minimal. Overall we got the impression that Linda did... More

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Linda's home stay. Our room was clean and spacious and the rest of Linda's house was beautiful! Linda was very welcoming and cooked dinner for us on our first night. We ate the tasty traditional acehnese food with her family. A lovely home cooked breakfast is also included in the price. Thank... More

I stayed at Linda Homestay from 20-24 April 2015. I purposely booked for a Homestay instead of hotel as I was traveling with my parents & auntie. I am glad that they really enjoy staying at Linda Homestay as it feels like home and they got to eat home-cooked breakfast. Linda is an excellent cook & a very warm person.... More

We really liked staying at Linda's. It's a good way to get to know more about aceh. Linda is full of stories, she knows a lot about aceh, but the best thing is she tells you the stories bij heart. We did a city tour with her and it's impressive to hear her stories about the loss and everything that... More

We were only staying overnight on our way to pulau weh so didn't see much of the town. However, we did walk up to the high street before dinner. As a white English family we were very interesting to the locals - but they were all friendly enough. Don't forget to wear long trousers or dress and long sleeves (ladies).... More

When we first arrived Linda proudly showed us her Trip Advisor certificate of excellence. She then asked about our sightseeing... More
