Got a standard room with hot water for 200.000 rupiah. Room was spacious and ok for a budget price. Water was warm though very little water pressure (down stairs room). Also no place to hang the shower head so had to hold it when showering. No fan/ac but you don't need it with the frisky mountain weather. Don't forget to... More

Rooms from 120.000 idr (smaller with cold water, for 150.000 idr with hot water). Rooms are big, clean, with big bathroom with European-style toilet, toilet paper and shower. You can get breakfast (eggs from 10.000 idr, pancakes from 20.000 idr) and dinner in small hotel restaurant (but only in certain time). They offer to rent a motorbike, but in high... More

The outdated rooms are spacious with a small balcony but a bit smelly and not very clean. The restaurant is good and inexpensive and they serve excellent coffee. The staff is friendly and can help to book flights in Indonesia (which can be tricky with a foreign credit card).

At around $20/night for a clean room with a/c and hot water this is great value. Very helpful staff, food is basic but tasty (we ate there each of the three nights of our stay). Restaurant area doubles as a good space for winding down after a long day out - free wi-fi. Serves delicious Toraja coffee too.

I enjoyed my stay here and was travelling From Makassar to Palu via the Togean Islands, Bada valley, Tentena etc enroute. This was the last time I felt quite clean and had hot water for a few weeks until reaching Palu! the cheap basic rooms arent great but if you can get a good rate on the top deluxe rooms ,... We were happy with Hotel Pison. It was everything we wanted. Comfortable, quiet-ish, (nowhere in Toraja is quiet now that the world has brought the Torajans chainsaws), hot water and run by a group of very nice people. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, (at least it wasn't in ours,) but it is very good. The coffee is... More

I spent a few nights in hotel pison in a superior room with ac and hot shower. They've also different rooms at different prices so you can choose that one which is on your budget. You can also rent a motorbike in the hotel or ask for a guide. I can recommend the guide Otto Miting. He speaks fluent english... More

We stayed here during our trip in Toraja. The room is quite spacious althought it's very basic without AC. You can get the aircon room with 70-100k IDR price difference. The hot water in the shower didn't work and the water was dirty when the first time we used it.

This hotelis definitely worth to stay at least because of the owner Elli, who will help you with everything in Toraja: organise bus to Ampana, find guides around Rantepao, suggests with drivers, ojeks, coffee, local food. We love Elli and Pison Hotel!

The hotel is very quite and peace. Standard room is very neat and clean. But the toilet flush was not working, and water flow was small at shower. The food was very affordable and delicious. This hotel is recommended for budget traveler in north Toraja.
