Jawa Jiwa G-land is the best place to escape to and just relax. The location is tucked away in a peaceful national park, away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff are attentive and so welcoming everyday. You become part of their family for your entire stay. The glamping tents are everything you could imagine and more. Can’t wait to come back!
My experience at Jawa Jiwa is not very good. I stayed there in october 2019 for two weeks. It was not possible to pay with credit card. I did´t know about that. So I did´t have the money in cash with me. So I asked my bank in Austria to transfer the money in AUD. They made a mistake and transfered the money in EUR. So Jawa Jiwa did get about 700 EUR to much. Matt the owner did´t pay the amount back till now. They are very much on the money. Also Neal the nice and competently surf guide is not working there anymore. The tents are actually nice. Don´t bring your nice dresses because one of mine has a hole from mices. Also one night I had a mouse just next to my head in the bed. This made me a bit uncomfortable. Cleaning the mouse traces on the bottom of the tent did not always happen... The area is amazing and I definitely recommend everybody to go to G-land but I would rather stay somewhere else.…
Beautiful well equipped accommodation with room service. Great atmosphere. Fairly clean for jungle standards. We even called in “glamping” so glamorous all actually looked. Great food with enough variety through out the days of the stay. Staff is adorable, friendly and super helpful. Neal will show you all the surf peaks and give you all the assistance needed. We were all so busy enjoying jungle life- walks, surf-surf-surf, riding the bicycles, watching beautiful sunsets with mates and Bintangs that the photos of the camp don’t do it justice. Definitely coming back again.
I've just returned from a short 3 night trip to Jawa Jiwa. The camp is located right between Bobby's and Joyos (not further down the point like of google maps) and is setback into the Jungle. I was thoroughly impressed by the Glamping Tents, which beat out any of the other accommodation options in G Land in my opinion. I'd happily take my girlfriend here and it offers much more comfort than the usual surf trip here. The staff were super attentive and they have the most conscientious and knowledgable surf guide that I have met in all the surf trips that I have done. Neil has 25 years of surfing G-Land under his belt and it really shows. Thanks crew for a great trip ad I'll be back soon!
