This is My second time living in balikpapan. This was in my budget. The only thing i like was the pool and coffe maker. Maxone can give me a cozy place. A smoking room was available. So this was very me. Thanks.

Outstanding stay at the MaxOne Hotels Balikpapan, The staff is friendly and helpful, delicious food selections for B'fast. Really enjoy and relax when I had a cup of coffee at the sky Bar. I only stayed one night but next time I will stay longer.

1st time here for just 1 night stay. The hotel is cherished with yellow and green color plus Xmas tree closed to FO counter. The room itself quite large. The hotel is located in downtown so it pretty easier to find food during the night, especially because the inside resto open only until 10PM. Order dinner thru room service is the best choice, if you are too lazy to go out. The breakfast is OK.

We stayed from August 16,2019 - August 18,2019.We are a family of 3 children,and here are our reviews : Pros : 1.Clean hotel with modern minimalist atmosphere 2.Clean and spacious room,cool air conditioner 3.Good parking lot Cons : 1.Not many variations on breakfast 2.Please ask your employee to have more smile.It is not they are rude,but they seem really busy and burdened on their job 🤔 A smile and a relaxing attitude will have a positive effect on customers' mood 😊

Pro's : this is a brand new hotel, affordable price, clean environment, cozy room, very clean, bathroom is pretty small but who needs too spacey bathroom, right? hot water is stable, 3 in 1 body shampoo is nicely fragrant and feels smooth on hair. They also have rooftop pools and bar. I didnt try it out cos it was rain. Con's : this is a nice hotel but, their staffs needs to learn more attitudes. Staffs at restaurant, at coffee station just sit and keep looking at her cellphone which was not appropriate at all. no smile, no sweet talk... only one restaurant staff who was very responsive and friendly. A fat tall guy, i didnt ask for his name. I accompanied my husband to have sahur @4 am, he was helping us. and again at morning when I took my toddler having breakfast, again he was serving the guests. oh and the cleaning service guy wiped the window in front of us @9 am while we're having breakfast. seriously? Very helpful and friendly staff (they allow me to check in earlier). The room is clean, with various menu for room service. It also have good location. They need to improve their breakfast menu varian, but overall it is a nice place to stay in balikpapan.

It is a great hotel for short term stay with clean rooms and very friendly staff. We have visited Maxone on Feb 2019. We needed to change our jobs and had to relocate our cats. Maxone was the one and only pet friendly hotel in Balikpapan which we could stay with our cats. Extremely helpful staff very clean rooms and great service. To be fair, I put this up front: I didn't get to stay here, well, I choose not to (for now), to be exact. With that in mind, let's continue. I believe, this hotel has a nice room, great arrangement. Love how the children space accommodate adults, with outdoor setting near the lobby, so smoker parents can still smoke, read newspaper, sipping coffee, and can be close to their children. The pool is great, outdoor and on high floor. So you can enjoy the city view from above. The bar is just next to it. The spa is on the same floor. Like I said earlier, I didn't spend the night here, so I don't know how the room setting, the bathroom, the amenities, but I'm sure it's great. Hell, maybe even the breakfast taste delicious. OK, here's why. As I walked up to the receptionist, no smile, no welcome, no good afternoon, no what can I do for you. No, none of that happened. Maybe she was busy, maybe she was having a hard time, but hell, this is hospitality industry, and you're working in one. At least a fake smile will do, which by the way, i didn't get either. With a front line like that, I didn't want to know how the others like. Especially when I want to bring my parents, friends, and family for a long weekend stay there. Maybe, I'll try it for myself first, and not now, not in the near future. Who knows, maybe then I'll change my rating too.…

I stayed here for bussiness trip. What i remember about this place is they have a nice room and building. I sleep well in herr but they need to improve their reception service. It took long time just to checked in. I arrived at the hotel and already tired. What i wan to do is just sleep. But the reception had a problem with the hotel agent or something . The latest hotel in Balikpapan at this time. Biggest than another maxone. The room is spacious than budget hotel standards. Complete amenities and functional furniture. Bed and 4 pillows so big and cozy. Aircon very cool. Bright ambience for business activity. The receptionist very helpful to arrange room that suitable for my needs also early and fast check in. She also assist me when i need to print some documents. If you smokers this hotel provide smoking room. Summary: maxone chain hotel never let you down.
