From the moment we arrived at the hotel (2 families of 4), we was made to feel welcome. The hotel looks amazing on the inside, very decorative and spotlessly clean. Our room was a lovely size and again always clean. A little in need of repair here and there, but definitely nothing to complain about. The hotel grounds are beautiful, lots of trees and plants. The amenities are good, 2 pools, water slides, mini golf, football pitches and much more. Again always kept clean and tidy. The pools were clean, and always felt safe with the lifeguards keeping an eye on the children. The slides were fun for all ages. And the lifeguards always friendly and have a laugh. The beach is sandy but lots of rocks in the sea, so water shoes are ideal. Bring snorkeling gear as there is loads of fish. The hotel's beach is kept clean, but not as clean either side. Still nice to go for a walk though. Not much to do outside the hotel but a lovely market 5 mins taxi ride (£1-2 only), about a 20-30 mins walk if you fancy it. The hotel's restaurant is nice, a selection of food to suit everyone. A little repetitive though after a while. Would be nice if the snack bar opened earlier. There was baguettes, pancakes and donuts from 3, but if you are like us and rather not eat in a restaurant for lunch then this was rather late. The evening entertainment was good, and the entertainment staff always trying to get people involved and make you laugh. The shows start late so its a bit of waiting around between dinner and show. We enjoyed joining in with the fun dances first, so all was good. Bar staff are friendly, and although English wasn't always the best, they always tried hard. A big thank you to the gentleman at the pool bar, sorry we forgot the name. Always friendly and smiley, and chatting to our sons. The highlights of the holiday was the animation team. These were so friendly and welcoming. Always activities available but not pressured into joining in. We want to thank them all from the bottom of our hearts for making the holiday. We sadly don't have all names, so sorry if we missed anyone. Ali and Titou (not sure on spelling) for the aqua aerobics, chats and making is laugh. Kimo for the darts, next time will kill you, lol. Rio and momo (Mohamed) so so friendly. And of course Casper who is all round fantastic, friendly, welcoming, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our boys holiday special. We thank you all, we love you Tunisian people.

Our room is stinky and has a mold/must smell to it that makes me worry if it's healthy to sleep here. It's as if the fridge has been broken and leaking hot water....oh right, it is. Probably has for years. The room smells like with all that warm leaky water, it has also never been properly aired out. In 30 years. Every single item in this hotel room is scuffed, stained, or damaged. Lampshade - smear. Toilet paper holder - RUST?! Faucets - calcium stains. Tiles, also stained. Walls scuffed, Every wooden furniture item has scratches and smears of something greasy. My sheet had two dog hairs and lipstick on it. The bathroom trash bin has no liner, and that's just disgusting. Despite the hotel's images, the king bed is actually two twins shoved together. The AC barely works. Again it's that same AC model I see all over Europe, you put it on full blast and it barely cools the room. It is simply not powerful enough. The TV is tiny, the size of a computer monitor. I imagine they don't expect people to be watching it, that people should be out at the pool or ocean. But it's too hot out, in mid July, for that. The positives about the room: There is a leather (?) couch with a bedsheet on it that makes it seem cleaner than just laying on leather. The room is good sized, large by Europe standards, normal by American. There is a large closet if you want to hang your clothing. I will re-review after we've eaten in the hotel's restaurants and interacted with the staff. We were not given the complimentary welcome drink, so our welcome was tarnished.

Well after a wait of nine years, choosing to go back to a hotel with so many good memories and hoping expectations haven't slipped over them years we have just arrived back from two fantastic weeks. In what has been an unprecedented previous two years we took that leap of faith and booked this hotel with Love holidays after teletext holidays went bust. I have to say we were unsure at first but the company kept us informed every step of the way with its own App and regular updates. I must say I will be booking with them on a regular basis as we were very impressed with the service. Now on arrival at the Hotel we were greeted with a porter who took our cases and on entering the hotel we were given refreshments. The receptionist asked if we had stayed before and we excitedly said yes and told them when and what it was like before. We were upgraded to a two bedroom family suite with pool, sea and garden views room 2106. The porter took us to our room and gave a precise explanation of air-conditioning settings, safe and doors. We was so pleased with the suite and it was spacious throughout and above all clean. We went down to the restaurant and three waiters recognised us from last time. We was shown to our table and trust me now the food was good and plentiful throughout our stay. Travelling with a nine year old who is fussy about eating was a concern but I can assure you every waiter, cook and chef looked after him superbly. A testament to a fantastic hotel with everything and everyone catered for. We were in for some memorable moments and none more than in our opinion the best animation team we have ever had the pleasure of. These people go above and beyond to make your holiday and they certainly achieved that. These people perform day in day out to sketches, dances and all different sports to the highest level of perfection. Blacky (my son my son) absolutely outstanding even after nine years my bro you perform effortlessly. Fatima, thank you for looking after Noah as a baby in 2013 and a nine year old, he will always remember you. Mo Mo (ha ha ha ha) my petanque partner you are a kind person with a heart of gold. Shrek excellent DJing and enjoyed our chats. Willy (The Robin Hood of Tunisia), Casper absolutely outstanding a true friend. Rio you are a gentleman in everyway possible, Ziko always follow your dreams, Titou thank you for your time, Simba you was good, Mado I truly enjoyed our chats and not forgetting Kimo or should I say Es-Kimo you made time for us and above all we had a laugh thankyou all from the bottom of our hearts ❤  you are the best of the best. Now there were two other people who were part of FRAM Yanis and Sadok who also made our holiday with plenty of laughter and chatting you two are fantastic 👏  Sadok I had a great holiday and I can honestly say thank you for everything the magic you perform was absolutely amazing. Our suite was cleaned daily and the cleaning was to the highest quality. From the singing cleaners down at the pool to the lifeguards (especially John Lennon) and the garden maintenance you do a superb job. To our waiter Sami thank you for your humour and quality of service by the pool. The restaurant staff were truly amazing with their dedication to detail and perfection. The entertainment programme was superb throughout the holiday. Animation team were just fantastic. The water slides were great as were the pools. The beach was clean with white powder sand. The volleyball, Archery, football and tennis courts were to the highest specification possible. The petanque courts were really good standard and the mini golf was superb on AstroTurf.  The indoor poool was a quiet place to be with the gym by its side along with the spa, sauna and hamman. Le Bonsai restaurant was quiet throughout but it was the beginning of their summer. Coco beach is payable for all inclusive guests if you want some fine dining. There is a shop on the complex that sells almost everything from Towels to toiletries, hats to plates, bags to t-shirts, shoes to sandals, crisps to sweets etc. We have been to many hotels over the years and this is in our top three by far for cleanliness, service, variety of food, accessibility ♿,  the best animation team by far #1 and the friendliness from everyone. We were the only English people in the hotel as its a favourite with the French and German aswell as the Tunisian families.  Dont let that put you off we speak very little French and made friends. The good thing about this hotel is it doesn't matter what languages you speak the people make this hotel and the experience of enjoyment makes your holiday. One sour note was the photographer that worked within the hotel. Please be aware of what is being agreed and make sure that you fully understand that they will befriend you and tell you that they will take loads of photos at sunset and on the beach. We was approached in the first week about having photos done when we had a bit of colour the following week. No money was mentioned at any point, so we had loads taken, to be exact 175 photos all digital. I have to agree that the photos were exceptional and then the famous words were spoken. I make you special price..... you tell me what special price is...... So we looked at photos and I wanted them all. 10 dinars for 1 photo and thats a digital one at that.  I said from the outset after special price was mentioned I am not prepared to pay £200 yes english pounds.  The photographer uttered words in Arabic and got up and stormed off. For me disrespect had been dismissed and I was not going to be parting with any money. Just be careful when or if you have photos taken, watch out for underarm tactics in pressure selling and remember nothing from nothing is nothing. On the whole an extremely eventful wonderful holiday made by all who work at The Khayam Garden Spa and Resort Hotel. When you have to leave after 2 weeks your last night is so upsetting because you just dont want to leave but we could not of asked for a better send off by all the animation team and especially our waiter who dressed our table to perfection. Never have regrets and never promise anything that you cannot deliver..... We will be coming back as soon as we can and really hope that we see all of our friends in the near future. From us all Alec, Fiona and Noah look after yourselves see you soon.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful, if you like plants and gardens WOW the owner imports special plants from Italy and in 22 years of coming to Tunisia I've never seen palm trees and lillies like it. Superb. The staff are so lovely thankyou to so many who looked after me. There was one particular animation who was so lovely with the family's and children and always working so hard and so friendly his name was tito. For me, the downside was the food and drinks. The food was very repetitive and mostly tunisian, which was good, but everything continental was bad. In 2 weeks i had not one portion of hot chips! Always cold. I went most days when the restaurant opened because its fresher than if you go later which to me is not very fair even if hotel is quiet. The fruit was so bad most days apart from the strawberrys. I ended up buying fruits outside :( coffee was very bitter in every machine and bar. By the end of my holiday I was so hungry I'm afraid and I lost weight there :(

We stayed here in 2013 just after the refurbishment of the hotel had been completed. We took our 1 year old son with us and can say that the hotel staff and animation team were all superb. The food was excellent and plentiful of every variety. The rooms were clean and spacious. This hotel has so much to offer every kind of traveller. We have just booked up for this hotel again arriving on 30th May 2022. We cannot wait to see how this hotel has grown and also look forward to seeing some of the animation staff that we have read in other recent reviews are still there from when we stayed there. Obviously our son is travelling with us and now is nine years old and cannot remember the first time we stayed there. He is as excited as both of us as this is the first time in my lifetime that we have ever travelled back to and stayed the same hotel. We are so looking forward to staying here again.

Myself and my daughter have stayed at this amazing hotel many many times since 2014. It never ceases to amaze me at how more beautiful it looks each time we go. The gardens are spectacular and very well kept, well worth seeing. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the view over the pool and out to the sea is breathtaking. The restaurant offers many different dishes for all tastes and is well stocked with fresh, hot food, soups, salads and desserts. The servers in the restaurant are very willing to help and ensure that the restaurant is kept clean and sanitised always. Animation...what can I say? There have been some changes since I was last here but as always Chef Mohamed has ensured that he has picked the best, this man is wonderful both with guests and his team alike, he is always around the Hotel to ensure that everything runs smoothly and favourably for ALL guests. A little shout out to the animation from before, who I now class as my family...Fatima, this very special lady runs the miniclub and works tirelessly selling the T-shirts that both kids and adults alike love to buy, Fatima has a true heart of gold and genuinely cares about the job she does. Blacky, what a guy, an amazing dancer and a complete bundle of fun. Kimi, quieter than the others but a kind, caring guy underneath, he works very hard trying to involve everybody in the activities and it was good seeing him more involved in the shows. DJ Othman, as always a great selection of music, very good at his job. Thank you Mr Moncef and all of your dedicated staff in all areas of the Hotel. A truly, wonderful family awaits everyone at Khayam Garden and everyone is very welcome, a trip to Tunisia can only be improved if you choose this Hotel.

Vacation at Novostar Khayam Garden is wonderful! I really liked the work of the animators - archery, water aerobics, zumba, and also RUNNING! You can run in the gym on a treadmill, or you can go along the streets of Nabeul with Mohamed, the head of the animation team. Mohammed always adjusts to a convenient time for hotels guests. Running at a comfortable pace allows you to see Tunisia from a different perspective. This is a unique opportunity to stay active on vacation. For those looking to run a few kilometers in Tunisia, Novostar Khayam Garden is the best choice!
