Stayed in the guest house during my vacation to Tunisia with my girlfriend. The house is amazing, one of the best places I've stayed. Brilliant location and really cool room. The hospitality shown by Mounira and her husband was fantastic. Strongly recommend staying in this place if you visit the area.

As an expat living and working in Tunis, I was looking for a quiet weekend retreat from the hustle and bustle of the capital - and I could not have chosen a better, more magical place than Dar Om ElKhair. As soon I walked through the doors, I was taken by the beautifully decorated space, which manages to combine both a modern and traditional aesthetic. But meeting the warm, hospitable hosts, Mounira and Taieb sealed the deal; they made me feel instantly at home and went above and beyond to help me get to know their corner of Cap Bon. I will definitely return, and will recommend Dar Om ElKhair highly to my friends and colleagues.

We were just looking for something not too far from Tunis airport, but our two nights here became the grand finale of our Tunisia round-trip. This old family home in the very centre of Nabeul is perfectly kept and decorated with extreme taste. Our hosts Mounira and Taieb were charming and made us feel at home. Don't miss this place!

This wonderful home has been in the same family for over 100 years. The renovations to add 3 guest rooms, a breakfast room, and a first floor level pool have been very well executed. But the real plus is the wonderfully warm welcome. Plenty of local advice peppered with history is the order of the day - and that day starts with a truly exceptional breakfast (beignet, croissant, yoghurt, omelette, espresso, local honey...). The location is superb - right by the entrance to the souk. The only possible negative is the mosque right next door which means you will be loudly called to prayer in the early hours, though in truth this adds to the atmosphere. This really is *the* place to stay in Nabeul.

Room Tip: Only three rooms. I was in the smallest which is more than large enough for a couple.

Our 2 night booking became a wonderful 5 night stay. This charming family home has been meticulously converted into a beautiful maison d’hote. There are three double rooms decorated to perfection. Our room, Elyssa, was spacious and very comfortable. The newly added second floor (where the rooms are located) has a lovely tiled terrace and swimming pool. Nabeul was a good location for exploring Cap Bon, Hammamet and Tunis. Breakfasts consisted of fresh orange juice, delicious coffee, local honey, jams and olives along with a selection of fresh baked breads and flaky croissants. Eggs and cereal were available. Mounira and Taieb are warm and friendly hosts who made our stay the highlight of our two week visit to Tunisia. We will surely return.
