We spent 3 nights at Plantation Lodge in February on our honeymoon where we visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro crater. We had an incredible time! Firstly, we got upgraded to the amazing Zanzibar villa on our arrival. The villa was very spacious and a lovely base. The gardens of the lodge were colourful and stunning, the scenic pool provided...

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights during our visits to Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater. We were thoroughly impressed with the suite and its amenities. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and the views of the countryside are stunning. The staff could not have been more courteous and attentive. Overall we were very pleased with our short stay...

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed. We stayed 3 nights in the family room. This is the perfect place if you have your own guide and want to visit Manyara and Ngorongoro. Even south Serengeti like Ndutu, though a bit far. They prepare very good picnic box if you spend all day out - which is...

Stayed 2 nights during our safari at Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. The rooms and service are impeccable. Friendly and experienced staff. Beautiful grounds with on-site coffee plantation and vegetable garden. The food was also excellent (although would prefer less Western influence and more local style food). Alcohol selection was good, but expensive. Custom bar and wine cellar was quite impressive....

This is a great base for the Ngorongoro crater and Manyara park. Both very different to the Serengeti and Tarangire parks we visited. Our guide also took us to a local market which we all really enjoyed, so colourful and lively. Plantation Lodge is surrounded by beautiful lush grounds and the rooms are amazing.

It is beautiful and quiet, the garden is so nice and food speacially good. The staff is very helpful and they organized even a small birthday-party for my partner. This hotel is located about 1.25 hours drive from the road down into the wonderful Ngorongoro crater. The hotel is set in large, luscious and well maintained gardens, with an architectural style that is part colonial, part tropical. Very nicely done and instantly appealing. The buildings and guest rooms are extremely well presented with lovely interiors and bathrooms. So why...

A beautiful lodge to rest after a long safari outing. We stayed in the guest house. A large house with 4 bedrooms. It was quiet & clean. The grounds are very large with beautiful bougainvilleas. We also found a vegetable garden & bee hives. One day when we came back from safari a table was set up under the lovely...
