Our stay at Ngorongoro Wildcamp was so intimate and special that you have to experience it to understand it. The location is amazing that from our beautifully furnished room we could enjoy jaw dropping views the beautiful of Rift Valley far below. It was just enchanting sitting on our room balcony enjoying beautiful sunset in the tranquil soroundings. The staffs were attentive and helpful including the elegant Masai guards that escorted us to dinner and back to our room. Food was fine and just right, honestly this was the best lodge experience on our trip.

After Serengeti we stayed at Ngorongoro Wildcamp while undertaking Ngorongoro Crater descent, Hadzabe Bushmen and other activities with local communities. The facilities are wonderful with nice rooms opening to the scenic valley down below. Sleep quality in the tentrooms was awesome. We also loved food and the excellent hospitality by Innocent the manager whose welcoming smile and attention was a nice touch. I could go on and on but I cannot possibly list all the nice things that happened so you had better book a visit and get first hand experience.

It was a very unique and special experience at Ngorongoro Wildcamp. This was our first time to stay inside a game protected area with no fences or barriers between the camp and wild animals. Waking up to giraffes close our room is unforgettable! The camp is built on a hill overlooking the Great Rift Valley we enjoyed glorious sunrises and sunsets views from our raised porch. Camp manager Innocent runs a very tight ship, this made us feel wanted and relaxed. Attentive and committed made our stay comfortable and enchanting that we did not want to leave.

The lovely people at Africa Safaris said stay at NW, yes it will cost a few £'s more, but it will be worth it, and it was - in spades! A little off the beaten track, but with views to die for this is a top notch wildcamp. Our "tent" was palacial with the most stunning views over the lake and Rift Valley. The food was excellent, the staff and service top draw Superb and worth every penny - go!

We stayed at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge the newer and more elegant addition to the sister property Ngorongoro Wildcamp. The rooms are beautifully designed and equipped with modern facilities. Giraffes and zebras come strolling right into the property and you can also hear them pass nearby at night. Meals are wonderful and are prepared from fresh with fresh ingredients sourced from local markets, the chef also makes specials on request. So we had a wonderful stay in this amazing lodge.
