We stayed at the luxurious Ngorongoro Wildcamp after returning from Serengeti, it was comfortable and very homely providing for all our needs as the tents was equipped with everything one would need on safari. The staff were professional and friendly making us feel like Kings as they took care of us. The food was super fine as the chef took care of our dietary restrictions. The camp is set in a great location with heavenly views of sunrise over eastern valleys and magical sunsets over Ngorongoro highlands.
Our stay at the Ngorongoro Wildcamp was truly Magical. We stayed in a room with the in a room w/ the most amazing view of the Great Rift Valley coupled by the wonderful service by staff. Monkeys, giraffes and warthogs would appear from the nearby bushes and come so close to our room. The spacious room is thoughtfully laid out with a kingsize comfortable bed, a couch inside and seats on the balcony for the panoramic sunsets. Needless to say that 3 days passed superfast and we did not want to leave this oasis in Ngorongoro
We had an amazing stay at this lovely camp. It was sheer luxury in the middle of the bush with wild animals roaming within the area. Food is tasty Service excellent Tent- spacious, amazing views, super clean you have to visit to understand the amazing experience.
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the start of September, and what a stay it was. Our room was right at the front called Makaroti - a beautiful room with amazing views to the lake. Giraffe and Zebra could often be seen from the veranda, and both would often wander into the camp which is a truly unique experience, getting to be so close to these amazing animals. The raised tent itself was spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. At the time of staying we were the only guests there and were treated like royalty - nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff said that they had been at the camp throughout the pandemic, ensuring all guests safety. There was hand washing on arrival and masks and gloves were worn by all staff for our safety. The food was always a treat - on arrival, they hadn't realised we would be wanting lunch, but no questions asked, they whipped up a delicious meal for us without warning. The food throughout our stay was incredible, every night was something different, and on our last night we were treated to a bbq. I also celebrated my birthday whilst at the camp...the staff made me a beautiful cake and they all came out and sang happy birthday with a drum in Swahili and English - certainly an experience I won't forget! Special shout out has to go to Joseph, who looked after us every night, kept us company by the fire of an evening and would run around the camp getting anything you asked for. He always went above and beyond for us. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!…
I have to say that the 4 days spent at the Ngorongoro Wildcamp last month was the highlight of our trip that we did not want to leave. I start with the superb raised tent room that combined luxury and comfort. Everything in it and the great location overlooking Lake Eyasi was amazing. The staff were outstanding in service and friendly. They attended to our needs and could even anticipate things before we did. Food was excellent with and really fresh! Even the choice of wines was really great. We enjoyed the late afternoon strolls with the Maasai guides taking in amazing views of the surrounding and beyond to valley.
