We spent a night at Neptune Ngorongoro. There were only 2 guests in this vast place for that night - this was during the Covid pandemic. So, it affected our whole experience. The accommodation is very luxurious with pleasant surroundings. They are suites with bedroom and living area. Probably too much for a single person or if you are like us just spending a night. You need to spend several days to enjoy your accommodation, including its glorious balcony. We were very disappointed by the restaurant. Not in a good location in the facility - simply tucked inside. Other luxury places we stayed in our safari had their restaurants positioned with fantastic views. Food was on the poor side - nothing special. It was not buffet (dinner or breakfast). This was a surprise to us! Everywhere else we stayed had buffet meals. …
I can just say “wow”. Such a luxury lodge. It was amazing. There’s no reason to talk because I can’t say anything bad about this hotel. It is perfect. Just WOW !! The restaurant is a five star one. The room is huge and REALLY REALLY clean.
We have stayed there for two nights and would definitely recommend to stay there for an additional one just to enjoy the place, its garden, swimming pool area etc. We arrived in the late afternoon from lake Manyara and were warmly welcomed by team. Our suite was just incredible. 120 square meters, elegantly furnished with all amenities. A large terrace overlooking the nature and no mosquitoes in this area. Everywhere a big attention to details. Fresh flowers in the room, in common restrooms at the restaurant, choice of drinks in the minibar etc. Quality of food was excellent with a choice of both international and local dishes. Staff was great, nice, polite without being too present . Special thanks to Devota, Rose and Emmanuel. We will miss you! Those kind of places where a lot of European hotels could get inspired by.…
Neptune had the most luxurious fabulous accommodations, and was the last night of our incredible trip with Gosheni Safaris. Our room had a huge living area with a fireplace, huge bedroom, huge deck, and spacious bathroom. While we had dinner, the staff surprised us with hot water bottles placed on our bed to warm the bedding. We are vegan and dinner and breakfast were wonderful. There were many filtered water bottles in the room. Staff was excellent.
We have enjoyed our stay at Neptune Ngorongoro. The Lodge is placed very close to the entry gate to the conservation area. The cottages are spacey with separate bedroom, living room and terrace. The garden was quite exceptional and had a variety of beautiful resident birds. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and did not shy any effort to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As the lodge is within a coffee plantation they serve the own home grown coffee, which was a nice surprise.
