We were lucky to stay here for two nights. The first night before going into the ngorongoro conservation area. Our accommodation was one of the excellent tents. Fantastic animal noises at night.
Great friendly staff and food.
Beautiful views from viewing hut.
Just a lovely place.
Return night we were in a stone building with a balcony and view over the valley, the hot shower was so lovely after 2 nights in the Bush with limited shower.
Just a great experience

My husband and I loved our honeymoon stay at the Ngorogoro Forest Lodge. All the staff was incredibly nice and provided us with excellent service. We were greeted by Daniel and provided with all the details regarding our meals who took note of any allergies, arranged for laundry service and made sure we had everything we needed. This was hands down our favorite lodge in the whole world, atleast the places we have been fortunate enough to visit so far. We have never met more friendlier staff in our lives. We made so many friends at this lodge. (I really wish I had left this review sooner because I am blanking at the details, we are just so bad at leaving reviews, but this has been on my to do list for many months now.) Daniel was hands down the best manager. He works literally 24/7, I do not know how his smile never fades. I would be so grouchy. The chef at this place has to be trained by ramsey or equivalent, because holy crap, the food was delightful. We also made friends with a garden staffing member, Samwelli, who saw us looking for baboons through our balcony. He took us on an adventure which ended up being one of the most memorable moments of our trip. We walked through the forest looking for baboons and we found them! We also found elephant footprints and got an authentic experience.

All the staff here works very hard and strives to provide you with the best service possible. Not a single bad experience. I will be recommending this Lodge to any of my family and friends that visit Tanzania in the future.

P.S. Make sure you tip the place, it gets divided among all the staff and they truly work very hard! We noticed the same team members working with a smile and a great attitude from 6am in the morning when we left for our safari till atleast 1130pm at night.

My friends and I had a great stay here. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and ensured we were comfortable throughout our stay.

I have multiple food allergies and the entire staff ensured that I was catered for at all times. They took great care when preparing my food and the chef asked me multiple times to ensure everything was okay. They give a packed breakfast and lunch on the day of the safari since there is a very early start to the day and even then, they prepared my food separately and I was able to safely eat here during my stay. On the last night of our stay, they ensured the food they cooked for everyone was free of my allergens to ensure no risk of contamination and I was very impressed by their courtesy. This is something I have found is quite rare when travelling but the staff took amazing care of this and I had a very enjoyable stay.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the views are amazing. One of the staff took my friends and I on a hike around the area and was very informative, explaining the culture in the surrounding villages.

We would highly recommend staying here as the location is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and kind. Our stay was very enjoyable!

Arrived here following a busy day at Lake Manyara. Warmly greeted by helpful staff.
Lovely setting with great views of the valley where you can hear the animals and sounds of local life
The first room was a well appointed tented lodge set in lush gardens.
There is a lovely pool and sitting area, as well as a couple of viewing points from which to admire the stunning views
Meals were tasty and plentiful. Vegetarians well catered for at mealtimes and in the picnic lunches.
The room for the second night was a brick built room. Great shower and bathroom. Comfy beds with mosquito nets. Patio doors with a great view of the valley. A quieter option than the tented lodge and a welcome change from having spent 2 nights in tents in the bush.
It felt like home when we returned and were treated like friends,

Very nice views and food.
Very quiet place, perfect to relax after a day in one of the national parks which are near by. Bed was very confortable and there is not a noise apart from those of nature (day and night)!
Great people who make you feel confortable always with a smile and giving you space but making sure you are attended at all times.
Very clean and very stylish decoration. Tents are spacious, very comfortable, and not close to each other.
We definitelly recommend it!

First contact with the lounge is rather positive… beautiful dining room with incredible roof and floor, pool and spa. However appearance can be deceiving. Food was average at best - very small dinner buffet selection (with a good soup for starter but just 2 cakes for dessert), meager breakfast, poor wine selection. The pool was extremely cold and a layer of dust was found on it’s floor, and the spa, which has a nice view, was covered with suspensions and unlikely to be biologically safe!
There are nice views from the lounge with a beautiful view point. Very different types of rooms. Some are large and nice, tented with outside bathroom. Others are concrete build and cramped.

Given that the structure is not very close to the entrance to the park and that the view, although beautiful, does not overlook the Ngorongoro crater (but on the external and not particularly interesting part), the structure itself has rooms that are certainly well looked after and clean. However, I am perplexed about the cuisine: it presents a fixed menu without the possibility of choice or alternatives to the dishes offered. Swimming pool not very clean. Overall good stay.

Really nice lodge with nice rooms and nice property with swimming pool and jacuzzi. The staff is friendly too. The property is on the top of a valley therefore you have a nice view.
The only complain will be with the rooms: it is a tented lodge therefore even if there are hard walls you can hear the person next to you.

Very attentive staff. Excellent service. Quiet, clean, and very private rooms. You do not even realise that you are in a beautiful tent. Great view as well. 24 hour coffee is always fresh. We really enjoyed our stay.

The setup of the lodge and the separate tent cabins on stilts was neat. The outdoor shower was a fun surprise (there is also an indoor shower!) and the rooms were clean and well equipped. Since the rooms are spread out from the lodge, the staff was ready and willing to carry our bags for us.
The food at the lodge was the best of our trip. The unique warm banana soup was my favorite - sweet and savory!
We didn’t have a chance to use to pool, but the setup was beautiful for that too.
Definitely recommend this lodge!
