After traveling up a long path off the main road, appeared a well manicured, beautiful oasis waiting to welcome us. We had arrived at the Manor! We began our welcome with a warm greeting from the delightful and informative Roddy along with a much needed glass of lemonade. Roddy gave a great tour of the property and its history. The... More

We stayed mid-safari for two nights at the Manor, and it was exquisite. While we traveled with our three young adult/older teen children, my husband and I happily had our own cottage. The rooms are especially pretty and romantic with sweeping views of the adjoining coffee plant laden hills, interior and exterior fireplaces, an enormous bathroom with claw foot tub... More

Having arrived after six nights on safari in the Mara and Serengeti, my husband and I were rather exhausted and in need of a dose of relaxation and continued adventure, both of which we found at The Manor. Upon arrival at the Lake Manyara airstrip, we were warmly greeted by our fantastic driver and guide, Lorry, who whisked us off... More

We stayed on The Manor for just one night (would've preferred more that's for sure). It was in a class of it's own away from the game reserves, not far from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area southern gate, set in beautiful grounds in a coffee estate. The staff are very welcoming and show you around. Unfortunately we arrived at sunset so... More

Thank you for taking the time to review The Manor. We definitely agree with you 'one night is too short' - however from your comments your stay was an enjoyable one; but it was unfortunate that you did not have time to do some memorable activities and to relax and enjoy what the property has to offer. I hope this... More

We stayed at The Manor during our Elewana SkySafari and its spectacular! We were collected at the airstrip by our guide, Ghandi, and driven to The Manor where Roddy and Camilla greeted us with snacks and drinks on the lawn. Roddy then showed us around the property, introduced us to the staff, and we were escorted to our room by... More

This lodge came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. We were driven to the lodge by our safari guide as this was our base for visiting Ngorogoro National Park which is a short drive away. The lodge is situated in a coffee plantation and is styled along colonial lines but is less than a decade old so everything is new and... More

The Manor is a fine example of Cape Dutch style architecture set amidst the Shangri-La coffee plantation on the south side of the Ngorongoro Crater.
