This lodge came highly recommended and didn't disappoint. We were driven to the lodge by our safari guide as this was our base for visiting Ngorogoro National Park which is a short drive away. The lodge is situated in a coffee plantation and is styled along colonial lines but is less than a decade old so everything is new and... More

The Manor is a beautiful colonial style property in the heart of a coffee plantation. The cottages are spacious and very luxurious and comfortable with lots of unexpected touches including turn down service where hot water bottles and your bedroom fire is lit to keep away the night time chill as the temperature drops in the evenings and staff running... The Manor is a fine example of Cape Dutch style architecture set amidst the Shangri-La coffee plantation on the south side of the Ngorongoro Crater. Elewana's typical high standards of staffing and attention to detail apply here, overseen by the manager Roddy and his wife who offered us a warm welcome on our arrival (from our bush flight into Lake... This place has the wow factor for luxury. Rooms over looking the coffee plantation are beautifully appointed and private . Service made The Manor so luxurious with Peter our butler going above and beyond to spoil our wives. Open fires and hot water bottles in your room if you don't want to venture out but the main lodge is beautiful... More

This hotel is built like a colonial manor with little houses on beautiful grounds that you can walk through. The service is impeccable - when we got back from a day at the crater there was a hot bubble bath with rose petals waiting - if there is one downside it is a little light on the technology - no... Beautiful gardens, lovely spacious rooms, excellent food, well appointed public rooms, a superb massage and delightful staff - what more can I say. Roddy and Camilla were great hosts. The manor is a stunning property set in coffee plantations. The suites are very tastefully and very beautiful and comfortable.
