We stayed only two nights, before and after the climb. We arrived to hotel after midnight, they just quickly placed us into our rooms. Rooms were clean, although they require some renovation. We didn’t even use nice mosquito bed nets, there were no fly or mosquito. Air condition was OK. Breakfast was OK. We could walk through the streets around,... More

I was booked here as pre & post Kilimanjaro climb ... found it to be extremely central staff friendly and rooms were clean and adequate for what's needed .... lovely meals and as they are prepared freshly upon ordering it does take awhile from ordering to eating but worth the wait

We stayed here for a couple of days before and a couple of days after a Kili climb. We didn't pick the hotel - it was the choice of our climb company. We were very impressed with the hotel: clean, well-maintained, friendly staff. There seemed to be somewhat daily power outages, which isn't the fault of the hotel, but their... More

Stayed at Bristol before and after our Kiliminjaro climb. A relaxing and unexpected pleasure in Moshi Town. Good food, attentive staff and comfortable rooms. Mattresses are firm but excellent overall for this experience!

Myself and 4 friends headed to Tanzania a couple of weeks ago to take on Kilimanjaro + do a 3 day safari. We stayed at Bristol before the climb, after the climb and after the safari. I couldn't praise the staff more. They were so helpful when our luggage didn't arrive from Nairobi Airport. Letting us use their phone and... More

I only stayed for one night, but overall found it absolutely lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast spread delicious. The wifi was a little weak in my room, but it's not a big deal. The green courtyard is a welcome sight every time!

The hotel is a solid hotel with good accommodations and food. The staff is friendly and they are extremely helpful. Even to the point of cleaning hiking shoes after a Trek up Kilimanjaro. The food is good, WIFI is spotty. There is a chicken farm on the adjacent property containing roosters that crowed interrupting sleep.

We have been here for just 1 night. Very nice rooms, spacy, large beds with good musquito nets. Bathrooms (to be modernized) with excellent hot shower. In crowded area very close to dala-dala/bus station. Restaurant quite basic with staff who did their job, nothing more. Breakfast very basic. Menu OK, both European and local Tanzanian.

We used the Bristol Cottages for our stay both before and after hiking Kilimanjaro. The rooms are average. Rooms in the main building back up against a busy street and are quite noisy - making it hard to get a good night's sleep. After our hike we stayed in rooms that were not in the main building and they were... More

Stayed for 2 nights in April 2016 during an official trip to Moshi. The rooms are clean and can be called a 3 star as per the standards in Tanzania. The owner was very hospitable and gave us suggestions for traveling around Moshi. Breakfast was good though the choice is limited. They close the restaurant pretty early in the night... More
