We booked a family apparent with a fully equipped kitchen. We got a part of a house for our own, which was great. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook your meal. There is also a big TV in the living room and the whole apartment is big enough for 6 persons. There is also a fireplace...

We were travelling long distance and booked an overnight stay at Aan die Oewer. Lorraine organized our stay as well as met us on arrival. She showed us to the tastefully decorated springbok suite. It was spottlessly clean and had a double bed and large fridge and freezer. She asked us if we would be needing breakfast. She went out...

One of the best B&Bs I have stayed at so far on our 3 week Sth African adventure. Comfortable and clean rooms. Smoke free room. Quiet location just the ticket for a good night's rest. The included breakfast was definitely a bonus

This is the 4th time I have stayed at Aan de Oewer. We are a group of approx 20 who travel each year to Graaf Reinet to play in the Proudfoot golf tournament and we always stay at Hubre's B&B. If you fall foul of one of Hubre's spontaneously braais, you will know what real hospitality is really like. Excellent...

We had a family room which was very big, leading onto a nice garden. We had self catering but bed and breakfast is available in a dining room next to pool area. The manager was very helpful and recommended a few restaurants , which we tried and one was very pleasant

We made a last minute reservation at Aan Die Oewer B&B and got the Eland cottage. What a great experience! The reception was friendly and smooth and the cottage was clean and well equipt. We had a good night's sleep in nice beds and clean, good quality linen. We will be back!

We only stayed at Aan die Oewer for one night as a pit stop on our way to Hartenbos, the hosts were very friendly. We stayed in the Springbok room and it was very clean‪ and the beds were great, aircon also great! The swimming pool was a bit dirty. I would stay there again!

I love Graaff-Reinett, the Valley of Desolation, the eateries, the museums...! And so for our first year wedding anniversary my husband spoilt me to a weekend away at Graaff-Reinet. Quietly without my knowledge he planned the whole trip by himself, and told me the day before so that I could prepare. Aan Die Oewe Bed and Breakfast was chosen because...

The room was okay. I wore my flip flops in the shower though because it looked a bit dodge. Breakfast wasn't great. We didn't get what we ordered. Maybe the kitchen was having a bad day as the promised muffins didn't appear either. The pool was really nice and there was plenty of safe parking.

Family room allows for 5. Steep stairs- problem if you have luggage for 5. Clean rooms. Nice pool and friendly manageress, Lorraine. Website and name somewhat misleading: there maybe a river but I sure did not see it. Had to ask for shampoo. Fresh cold water supplied
