Cosy tents located in a beautiful garden space with a nice view of the lake! Calm atmosphere except for some music from neighbouring bars at the weekend. You will find everything you need at Inzu Lodge for a relaxing stay: great food, excellent cocktails and a beautiful souvenir shop.

Paradise resort set in a beautiful garden full of flowers and nature. Beautiful views of Lake Kivu. Restaurant is rather simple and WiFi unfortunately does not work on the whole property but only in the restaurant. Friendly staff who go out of their way to make it as pleasant as possible. Be sure to take a boat trip on Lake Kivu and go to the hot springs at Rubavu.

It's a beautiful property but not on the lake. The tents are very nice and the beds are comfortable. I was disappointed in the substantial markup fees for activities. I've been to the lake several times and know what things cost but the hotel was adding a surplus beyond reasonable. The breakfast is good and the dinner was good enough.

Inzu was a great stop off for us in Gisenyi. The views of the lake from our tent and the grounds were beautiful. The tent was very basic with shared bathrooms, but comfortable and a good deal. The restaurant was very good with a big menu selection for such a small hotel - and they had EVERYTHING on the menu. So often you see a great menu, only to be told much of it is not available. We arranged a local walking tour and a boat ride from the front desk and really enjoyed it. It seemed much more authentic than other tours we have taken. Another surprise was to wake up and find them washing our (filthy!) rental car one morning. What a treat. The final 100 meters to the hotel is a steep and rocky drive, but very manageable.

Great Glamping spot near the border of DRC and Rwanda. Comfy beds in tents, hot water and shared baths- all clean and easy to get to. Great food! Beware of the HUGE grilled fish platter- it feeds like 4-5 people. Didn’t realize that when I ordered it. Would stay there again.

Inzu lodge is set up a steep hill which means you have stunning views of lake Kivu when you are there. We camped in our own tent and the eco shower was hot and clean. There was the option of flushing or compost toilet. The food is wonderful. Some of the best value and more unusual vegetarian or vegan choices in Rwanda. I love the presentation on banana leaves of some dishes. The only thing is the tents you stay in could be revamped to be a bit more stylish. They are currently basic, but serve their purpose.

I appreciate kindness of staff, ready to help you with anything. They were rely nice, food was served on traditional banana leaves. Prepared really fast (comparing to other african restaurants). Cozy atmosphere. Warm water was temporarily out of service, but there was a paper with apology for that. We slept in izuba tent with a child and we consider this as a one of the most romantic scenery for low budget family travelling.

We booked to stay at this lodge, all was good we got a what's app confirmations, then we drove up to Gisenyi and drove 9 kilometer from Gisenyi town to the Inzu Lodge, we were getting concerned with many military soldiers we were seeing on the road taking us at Inzu but later realized there was a military barracks for Rwanda marines. Reaching at the lodge we entered from a road that was stony and steep, we think more work can be done to improve the road for some cars might find a challenge driving through it. In the lodge inside, the garden were so beautiful, the lake Kivu view was eye catching 🤓 the sustainability of doing things at the lodge was interesting, then we checked in our tent, it was nice inside only that I got worried of no guarantee of security since you can't close the tent to yourself a lone in case you want to leave your property inside or even sleeping but all went well since we were two groups of people only. The food was amazing though it took more than one hour to prepare, they could do better on the time spent preparing food and taking orders!! the fish, rice and chips was 😋 though power went off and they light bulb power savers but realized in tenets there was no lights or generator in case power checks off. Perhaps they should use solar power energy since power seems to go off and more so they depict the lodge as a clean environmently sustainability place!! The wash room ie shower had problems with broken pipes, complexities of regulating warm water and cold water, I think they should fix it because it takes just to replace the water pipe for shower. The floor for shower can also be improved to make the shower enjoyable. We didn't have bathing soap or hand-soap even when we requested for it so next time they should inform there guests how to get the soap. And also the toilet are deep hole pit-latrine type and so require hand soap to wash hand after use. I Loved that the security staff washed our vehicle early morning even when we didn't tell him to do so. But we appreciated though I couldn't meet him personally to thank him. Probably next time when I return. Generally our experience with staying at Inzu Lodge was good but it could be better if the issues raised above are fixed. Thank you so much!! 🙏🤝

After a steep klimb you will find the entrance 😂 I stayed in the bungalow and as I can say, the bed was good, with mosquito net. It also has a douche and toilet. Breakfast is not included in the price, but not expencive. The view is fantastic and the food they serve ok.

We love Inzu and have been coming here for years. It has a beautiful view and well maintained gardens, making it a great getaway from Kigali. The staff are friendly and responsive. It was disappointing to see the facilities at Inzu getting tired. Old mattresses and towels, dirty mosquito nets, the kitchen missing key ingredients for menu items, broken bathroom faucet, and cold showers with water pressure at a drip.
