Spent two nights here for a corporate retreat and found it very conducive for both work and leisure. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, while the food is plentiful and tasty. The overall environment is perfect for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. The grounds are home to a number of waterbuck who have the...

The place is quite serene and enchanting as compared to most properties along Moi South Lake Rd.I only go back to this place for the serenity and quietness though. Its overpriced for the quality of service provided.Staff tend to be arrogant and slow.I also don't get the concept of charging at the gate. This is the reason why; the place looks expensive...

We arrived at the lodge last week to see if we could get a booking. Just at the gate, the guard said we had to pay Kshs.100/- per person just to enter in. Then we went to the reception to ask the rates. We were given very high rates and the receptionist did not even bother to reduce them. We...

Myself and my wife were blown away by the staff at Sopa Lodge Naivasha. They were so friendly, genuine and attentive. We spent six days in their gentle company. The room was generous in size, with a simple yet comfortable layout. Our room attendant Wilson did an excellent job of keeping the room fresh, tidy and bug free. On our...

The hotel experience was wonderful at first. Warm and attentive waiting staff, as well as efficient front office staff. Imagine our consternation on our last evening to find a tersely worded letter "requesting" us to clear the hotel by 9.30 a.m. the next morning, "as they were expecting more guests". Really, Naivasha Simba Lodge? Really? And to make matters worse,...

I was down in Nairobi earlier this weekend with my Wife and my daughter. Planned a weekend gateway to Simba - Naivasha. We had the most amazing time starting from the service since we had a 11 month old baby and the buffets finger licking. Guys in visit to Nairobi must visit or drive to Naivasha and stay in Simba.

We read the good reviews and decided to stop by for lunch on our way back to Nairobi. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing, wild animals wander around and the Lake is visible beyond the water hyacinths. However, we thought the buffet lunch was poor quality for the Ksh 2,000 price per person. They also tried to charge us the...

Our only regret was that we only booked in for 1 night on our way from Maasai Mara to Amboseli. This hotel is quiet and beautiful, situated in a large garden filled with antelopes with other game over the fence. Its the ideal spot to 'chill' for a couple of days between long drives and a busy schedule. Great rooms,...

We had gone there as a family to celebrate my Husbands birthday... :) the property is so beautiful that it totally takes your breath away... there are water bucks strolling around.. a little further down post the fence of the property you would see zeebras and giraffes running and playing... birds chirping... trees whistling... its so serene that you would...

Popped into this hotel for my recent short stay in Kenya, in fact, for lunch. It was awesome. The food is amazing and enjoyed every moment of it. It was worth the drive all the way from Nairobi. The whole environment is tranquil and relaxing. Cannot wait to sleep here in 2014. Loved the setting, within the bushy areas of...
