A friend and I wanted to get away for a day from Nairobi, and based on reviews on food quality we selected Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge. The lodge and surrounding gardens were breathtaking with herds of water bucks roaming within feet of the restaurant. Outside the perimeter fence, giraffes, zebra, and a host of bird can be viewed. All this... More

Really beautiful and serene hotel, located on the shores of Lake Naivasha. The majestic acacia trees, the wild animals roaming around the property and the wide variety of birds chirping and cooing incessantly make it the perfect get away. Good food though service seems to have gone down a bit.

stayed one night in the middle of a long drive between niarobi and masai mara. pretty place, a bit disney. pretty pool, comfortable accommodations, the staff was a bit lackluster. it was neat having the animals so close. all in all it was a perfect one-night spot.

Stayed in Company of Colleagues while attending a conference. The staff were wonderful. Food was excellent and of good variety. The grounds were well maintained, and offered a lovely view, while combining with the wild animals roaming the place freely. It was a wonderful three day experience.

This was my first stay at Simba Lodge and I must say I was really impressed. Accommodation was in self contained and impeccably maintained suites set out in a few units per block. The blocks themselves blend in excellently with the lush green vegetation - acacia trees, bush and well mowed grass. Wild herbivores (zebra, water buck, giraffe) roam freely... More

Great rooms with the usual though the best was the sunken sitting space with the TV, ambiance. Food was a bit pedestrian. Other problem is the do not have own boating services. Showers wre indeed great as well

I have first stayed there for a work retreat and then decided to bring my husband just for a weekend, given that we live in Nairobi and the trip does not take a lot of time. It is a very calm and quiet place, although we were surprised to find few people staying, even if the hotel management informed us... More

A beautiful place. The idea of waking up in the morning and finding waterbucks and zebras grazing outside the room is unique and satisfying. The only issue here is that I did not like the idea that a soft drink and/or water during meals is billed separately.

Stayed 6 nights as part of business conference. Bed Rooms clean, good size, with balcony or veranda overlooking park like grounds. Bed was a bit hard but slept well. Buffet restaurant, with tasty food mix of African and Indian style. Conference block was quite well equipped and comfortably sat our group of 20 boardroom style. Imagine rooms can get hot... More
