We had an amazing time at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge! The lodge is incredibly beautiful, with winding paths and lovely buildings that fit perfectly into the peaceful surroundings. It's no surprise that even wild animals come here to relax. We saw zebras and waterbucks grazing near our patio during the day, and a majestic gray Eagle-owl resting in a nearby tree at night. We also enjoyed watching adorable bush babies playing in the shrubberies in the evenings – they were too fast for us to capture in photos!
The dining room was elegantly appointed and offered a wide variety of dishes made by Chef Sylvester. He personally helped us navigate our food allergies, making sure we could try all the delicious options safely. Our room was spacious, clean, and bug-free. The bathroom was large and comfortable, with both an indoor shower and an outdoor shower on a private patio that added a touch of adventure to our stay. The pool was a refreshing place to swim and relax, perfect after a day of exploring.
Meeting Collins, the Receptionist and Cashier, was a highlight of our visit. He was friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in ensuring our stay was memorable. Collins quickly became our go-to guide for everything Naivasha and beyond, enriching our experience with his local knowledge and friendly demeanor. In our brief time there, he felt more like a dear friend than a staff member.
We left Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge with happy memories and a strong desire to return for a longer visit. When we come back to Naivasha, Simba Lodge will definitely be our first choice.

From the moment we entered until the time we checked out, we found this Lodge to be a lovely place to commiserate with Nature.
The complex is huge and is nestled on the shores of Lake Naivasha. Nicely maintained Flower Beds are everywhere-- as are the Zebras, the Water Bucks, Monkeys, Bush Babies and lots of pretty Birds. We loved exploring the surroundings taking some lovely photos of us near the calm animals, who seem to have no problems with many people milling around. Electrified fences keep the Hippos away.
Our Room on the second floor was large with two beds, a sitting area to read or just sit there looking at the fascinating animals so close by. Storage space was adequate. The scenery is breath-taking – even with all the recent flooding that had taken place. Sunrise over the Lake was spectacular.
The Dining Rooms are large, and the Gardenia Restaurant had tons of options for all palates. Every type of food was displayed artistically, making it all so tempting. The Chef and the servers were helpful in getting the people to select complimentary tastes in the dishes. Afternoon Tea with some snacks was very satisfying.
Every Staff Member is polite, professional, super-friendly. welcoming, attentive and accommodating.
We would have loved to stay for one more night, but alas, a tourist always has very little time.

A beautiful lodge with nice spacious rooms, very cozy and clean. Wifi in the room, always electricity. Overlooking the garden full of zebras and waterbuck. These come up to 1.5m away and can be walked freely. Beyond the garden we can go on a pier to spot hippos. Also many monkeys and birds. The food was extensive and accessible to everyone, including the cocktails very tasty. Staff very friendly and accommodating, they prepare the rooms for the night and are going to exterminate any mosquitoes when we dine. A campfire is built and there is a nice atmosphere in the bar. There is a swimming pool. We did a trip for boat trip on lake naivasha and walk on crescent island. Recommended!

We stayed here 1 night, and it was 1 night too many. The hotel presents very nice, well manicured grounds, friendly staff. But, that's where the positivity ends.
The room we were placed in should have never been commissioned for accommodation. There was this strong chemical smell that encapsulated the entire room, with no ventilation. Opening the windows wasn't possible because there was no mosquito net.
It was as if the room had just been painted/wood varnished a couple hours prior to our arrival. The chemical exposure was so much, that it started to burn when breathing.
The food was nothing special, not much in terms of variety.
I would suggest staying elsewhere. I wouldn't return or recommend Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge.

We went to Naivasha Simba for my sons 3rd birthday with the family and it was excellent. The service was amazing. Their staff is one of the most humble, friendly and hard working and always smiling. Nothing was too much for them and they always found a way to cater for us. Rooms are also nice and clean. The house keeping does a good job and fresh towels, toiletries and water is always re-stocked. They are so discreet on turn down and leave hot water bottles which are appreciated in the cold at night. Food was good too. Would definitely come back and recommend others too. Grishom, one of the waiters is still remembered by my son he was exceptional and so was the chef Sylvester. Thank you to Mr. Dhiren also who took great care of us.

We had a very warm welcome from Collins at the reception he was very nice and gave us a brief before our check in. The rooms are very spacious, the showers have hot water which was really great since we arrived in the evening and it was quite cold. The dinner was fantastic there were many options to choose from and the food is very fresh. The most exciting experience is the wildlife such as zebras waterbucks and giraffes grazing all over the gardens and you can literally see them outside your rooms. A big thanks to Chirag and Naivasha team for making our stay very enjoyable. I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Naivasha.

It is a beautiful Lodge, very well maintained and clean, with incredible gardens and location, good service and food in the restaurant. Everything invited to relax. While we were walking through the gardens after sunset, I saw that, at the bonfire they have in the center of the gardens, they began to set up a bar with alcoholic drinks and a speaker, with a power worthy of a concert or party of considerable size. Here, with my long professional experience as hotel manager, I already feared the worst, and my fears became a reality. The bonfire in the gardens is in front of the different houses where the rooms are located, including ours. A group of local people began to arrive, who were also staying at the hotel, and who had a pre-contracted event that consisted of throwing a party with an undetermined end time.
At 9:30 p.m. I called the reception asking how long the party was going to last, since it was going to be IMPOSSIBLE to relax, much less sleep, since the room was rumbling, and as time went by, the partygoers were totally drunk. They started shouting, laughing and singing, making the situation even more unbearable. The reception told me that at 10:00 p.m. they would turn off the music, and I thanked them, since as I told them, we had to wake up at 7:00 a.m., like I suppose many others do for their safaris. We did not expect that in a Lodge where clients come to rest, a party would be held in front of the rooms at night.
Later, at 10:15 p.m., getting into bed to "try" to sleep and seeing that it didn't stop, I got dressed and went to the reception to ask for explanations. What I found was 3 members of staff (there was no "manager" at that time), who were unable to stop it (they didn't try very hard), since the partygoers didn't pay attention to them. Due to his drunken state, the staff told me that "they couldn't do anything."
I couldn't believe what was happening, and I asked them if they were willing for me, as a client, to have to go "face" another group of clients who were out of control due to an event, managed in a terrible way by the hotel. After all this, it was almost 10:45 p.m., and I had to go myself to talk to the group, in the presence of a totally impassive hotel staff. I had a conversation, which ended in a big argument, with the person who introduced himself, as the leader of the group, who had hired the party, and told me he had hired that event and that he was "going to continue whit it".
After a few tense minutes he told me that the party would end at 11:00 p.m., which, as we expected, would not happen like that, still continuing at midnight, when we were already trying to sleep with the help of some earplugs (not possible). A real shame. If you want to sleep and rest, this is not your place. By the way, a shy apology from the front office team (not hotel managers in sight), and no attempts for compensation during check-out.

This hotel is an unique experience mostly due to its friendly zebras and waterbucks that you can find in its garden. The rooms are a bit old but very clean and specious. There is hot water in the shower and even a second privet outdoor shower for hot days. From our terrace we could see the Naivasha Lake and also the zebras just a few meters away feeding peacefully on grass. The food was also very good served as a buffet with a lot of options ( even for vegetarians) and the Chef was very friendly and funny. We really enjoyed talking to him and to the other staff - everyone did an amazing job!

We spent our first night on safari at the Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge. It was the perfect place to stay. We had two rooms with a connecting door, which was great for my mother-in-law and my husband and I. Our rooms looked out on the beautiful grounds where zebra and water buck roamed the grounds freely. There were black faced monkeys and plenty of different species of birds as well. The restaurant had a lovely selection for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm sorry that I don't remember our waiter's name, as we had the same young man for every meal. He was personable and quite friendly. Wifi was available in our room, which was not true for all resorts we stayed at, so that was nice as well. The grounds were very neatly kept, and there was always staff near by willing to help if needed. The pool looked very nice, although we didn't use it as it was a bit chilly the days we were there.

Arrived there for lunch on 18th December with my family. The ambience of the restaurant and well manicured gardens capture your attention. We were welcomed by smiling staff and ushered to our tables. The food was buffet well labelled chafing dishes and had a lunch to remember before we embarked on our return journey back to Nairobi to watch the world cup finals
