We spent there one night on our trip to Lake Naivasha. The chalets are big with 2 bed rooms and living room with open kitchen. Hotel is very remote on the end of the road. You need additional 30 minutes to get there. Close to the hotel they have boat trips on the lake. Overpriced comparing with other places. Restaurant in the lodge is good.
The reception offer fresh juice .Kongoni has good scenic views and we enjoyed our stay with music and games. The hot showers in the rooms are appealing as is the interior decor. Only issue is the draining while taking shower. The water gets filled in the small place very fast due to slow draining. The meals are a delicious variety started off with a hot towel and the ending with a bowel of lemon warm water.
There are few games like dart and pool for a time pass. There are few other attractions listed which are charged except for a scenic view from hill top.

Greetings from Naivasha Kongoni Lodge. Thank you for taking time to review our property. We are glad to hear that your stay with us will be a memorable one. Kindly note the boat rides are organized by the community hence we have no control of the rates. Let me know which room you stayed in to enable us send the maintenance team to go check on the drainage system for that cottage. We look forward to hosting you again at our facility.

This place is really stunning. Away from busy City live, located near the Lake Naivasha on a hill with nothing but nature.
Sometimes Monkeys come for a visit, but besides that only beautiful birds are there.
The Cottages rate from normal to exclusive with an private small pool at the place. (Only Exclusive!)
Each Cottage comes with a Solar Panel on the Roof from Bosch, to safe up and receive hot water.
The Living Room is stunning and huge, it has a 2 couches, with a wooden table and big chairs in it.
The Bedroom has a Twin Size Bed with a moskito net.
The Bathroom has a big rainshower and two nice sinks.
For the Exclusive Cottage a Whirlpool is also included in the Bathroom.
The way from and to the restaurant is walkable and the signs lead the way, in case you get lost.

The Staff is sweet, helpful and very nice.
Food was incredible good and not much, because they only serve food on how many people stayed at the Lodge.
They want to prevent wasting much food.
Prices are fair and at some point affordable.

I stayed here for five days with my family over Christmas. We chose the place because we wanted a place off crowded and busy urban areas and where there's ample space for social distancing. I couldn't have made a better choice. The place was peaceful and serene. Staff were extra kind and professional and properly observed all protocols. We stayed in an exclusive cottage which was quite spacious and setup like a home. The housekeeping services were thorough and efficient. The food was awesome and well made with reasonable varieties. They had complimentary activities like boat ride at their sister facility at Oloiden, cycling etc. Entertainment over festive dinners was also well thought and family suitable. The only downside was that soft drinks were not part of package and had to be paid separately, which can be pricey (and they were) when one has kids. Internet was a bit unreliable too.

The hotel had one final surprise for us as we were checking out. Two legs of a full grown goat to carry home courtesy of the hotel chairman. Wow. The party continued at home.

This is a place I will certainly return. Asanteni sana.

We stayed for one night at the location during our safari trip. The location is far from the centre in a very peaceful place. The area is beautiful and serene.
The chalet we were given was quite big with 2 rooms and a lounge. It was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom is a little small compared to the rest of the area. If the lounge doesn’t exist, the room area is quite small too. We kept our luggage in the lounge which was the reason we didn’t feel like the space was an issue.
The chalet however is not supplied with any cutlery. If you going to provide a kitchen area in the chalet, have some cutlery for people to use during their stay.
Now, the restaurant. The food was sadly not satisfying at all. The food had no taste and was not cooked properly. The calamari we ordered was over cooked. The Margherita pizza I ordered had onions in it. Upon asking, they said somebody mixed onions in the sauce by mistake. Lol
Anyway, if they improve their kitchen, the place would be much much better to stay in.

I just returned from a trip to Africa and stayed 3 nights at Kongoni Lodge. It was by far my favorite accommodation of my trip. I stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage, which is set up like a house. Two private bedrooms that share the common living, dining and kitchen areas. If you don't want to be housed with a stranger, you can request the other room be left empty for a small fee, or request a one bedroom cottage. There was also strong wifi signal in the cottages. The food is top notch, the best I had on my trip, and the staff is lovely. There is an amazing view of the lake from the restaurant. The only negative is that this property isn't directly on the lake, but there is a trail on the property that leads up to an amazing view of the area. The positive to this property not being directly on the lake is that the higher altitude keeps it cool and mosquito free! This is a great base from which to explore the surrounding area. Lake Naivasha, Hell's Gate and Crater Lake Sanctuary are all very close by. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend if you're in the area.

We were 2 couples and it worked perfectly to share one house. We each had our own bedroom & bath and yet could visit in the large living/eating area. Toiletries were provided, the bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. Food was actually very good and plentiful. It was nice to be waited on as opposed to always jumping up for a buffet. Staff were all very professional - we accidentally overpaid and the refund came back within a couple of days. If they had a fridge and stove it could be an easy place for a family. The only awkward thing about this property was that if you go as only 2 people, you may share the house with strangers.

Nice hotel near Lake Naivasha.
At the entrance you are greeted by nice staff, a welcome drink, and quick check-in.
Our house-room had a common entrance area, a kitchen, sofas, a TV, and then, like a townhouse, it was divided into 2 bedrooms, each bedroom having its own toilet.
The rooms are very beautiful, all made of solid wood, good pressure in the shower, warm water. There is a mask net over the bed.
The food was delicious, buffet, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, desserts.
There is also a small swimming pool on site.
Impressions of the department remained positive.
I would just like to add and complete the territory for accompanying ranger guides, so that they can be in the same hotel with tourists.

Pros: staff are super friendly and that’s about it.

Cons:
1 night cost ksh10,000 per person in the executive room for residents. Not worth it at all.
Food: very average and basic. I have been to hotels/lodges and paid ksh 10k per person and have never eaten more basic food than this place
Toiletries: very cheap quality
Jacuzzi: dirty
Not ideal for families with kids-pretty boring.

Overall I would not recommend this lodge or come back again
Drinking water: less water, 1 bottle per person per room
Rooms: spacious but the some of the room lights did not work
If you want to do any activities such as boating or game drive, this is an extra charge on top of the rates already paid

I enjoyed my stay. The staff are most welcoming from the security officer at the gate, the receptionist, to the dinning/bar area staff. Even the gardener offered to wash the dust off our car.
The accommodation is perfect and in all, a very good experience ( side note to the sous chef on breakfast of Sunday the 19th Feb, Treat your fellow staff better, don't shout at them the way you did)
Lovely experience, Highly recommended.

We always book our clients for 1 or 2 nights stays in Naivasha when they are visiting Lake Naivasha, Hells' Gate and horse back riding at the sanctuary. Our clients receive the best professional services and the meals are to die for. We have never had a complaint about their stay and always get the most positive review. They staff are friendly, the cottages clean, comfortable and luxurious. From the booking with with Glory reservations we have a great experience and she is always ready to accommodate all our clients request no matter how bizarre.
We thank you Glory and Kongoni staff for working with us.
We at SafariBook recommend Kongoni Naivasha Lodge 100%.
