Calm, spacious, teeming with (apart from the monkey that stole the sugar bowl!) well behaved animals. Perfect for a few quiet family days. Food splendid, wonderful service, very friendly. And did I mention the space?

When I first arrived, I had no idea the extent of this AMAZING nature preserve! On my morning run I ran amongst giraffe, antelope, monkeys, zebra, and water buck! Great accommodations and the view in every direction is distractingly beautiful. Additionally, everyone I interacted with was simply amazing. Thanks Sanctuary Farm!

Sanctuary Farm has everything you could want on a weekend get away to Naivasha. The wildlife- its everywhere, and you can see the natural roaming patterns and habits of the animals of south lake as they are free to foam as they feel. The food- Julie and her staff at the clubhouse can NOT be beat. Every meal is fresh,... More

Sanctuary Farm is a beautiful, peaceful and wonderfully preserved place. Zebras, wildebeest, giraffe, water buck, antelope and countless other animals roam the fields. Birds sing in the trees and if you are lucky you will spot a baby giraffe on an evening stroll. The horseback riding is excellent and makes you feel like you are one of the animals. The... More

The land is beautiful--many acres with all sorts of wildlife, from giraffes eating from trees outside your room to hyaenas you can see during night drives. It's also a great place to socialize with a big group of friends on the weekends.

Sanctuary farm is not a resort, but rather it is a small and charming location for a quiet getaway. Our room was beautifully appointed (with fantastic hot shower) looking onto a grove of trees and grazing impalas, zebras, wildebeest and giraffes (and frolicking monkeys). The quadrangle of rooms are converted stables and it is a short walk to a modest... More

We just got back frm a 2 day get-away to Sanctuary Farm. Our time there was outstanding - thanks to the service, hospitality, activities, meals and lodging. We stayed in the horse stables - and our room was so charming. Dinner last night (leek/date soup, cheese aubergines, mixed vegetables, beef stew with awesome rice followed by apple crisp was one... I cannot comment on the accommodation, as I only tried the restaurant for lunch. The place is very nice, and the pricing reasonable. The restaurant is quite small and located in an open verandah overlooking the sanctuary with plenty of animals around (dozens of zebras, giraffes, monkeys...) The food was very good too, although some more variety would be nice.... More

We have been to Sanctuary Farm on several occasions. We love it. On our most recent visit we camped using our own tents. Whilst it is pricey for camping the bathroom facilities are superb for a campsite and it is such a beautiful location, surrounded by wonderful wildlife. We will return!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Sanctuary Farm. I am delighted to hear that you love sanctuary farm as much as we do. I know the camping fee is pricey and the reason for this is exclusivity. We let the campsite out on a one booking at a time basis whether its one person or... More

I'll start off by saying that the hotel is lovely and I will definitely be bringing my father back when he visits me in Kenya...but I think this hotel is best for a specific group of people and I'm not that kind of person. I also want to say that I was very disturbed to see the security guys trying... More

Dear Kim Thank you for taking the time to review Sanctuary Farm and I am glad that you enjoyed your stay. Sanctuary Farm is a working dairy farm. We have a maize crop waiting to be harvested which is not part of the conservancy and the staff use catapults to deter the monkeys from stealing all the maize. Not one... More
