I have been to sanctuary farm now a few times. Each time from a neighboring resort to bring my kids horse riding. My wife sits at the club house to watch us on the horses. Each time she is asked whether we are staying for lunch and after saying no she is totally ignored and struggles to order a cup...

Such a beautiful place to camp with friends, children or even as a family. The grounds are tidied up pretty well, the bathrooms in mint condition, hot water showers that don't disappoint. You are able to see the animals roam around at a safe distance too!! If you fancy bird watching in the evenings or a walk to the lake,...

If you like great scenery, fantastic food, authentic hosts and horseback riding between African wildlife this is the place to be. Rooms need some upgrading but nothing big. Hope to return in near future.

We've been around 10 times, and always bring out of town guests when we have the chance now. Restaurant: The lunch is excellent, heaping with fresh seasonal vegetarian dishes, mostly Ottolenghi style salads and veggies. Personally, my favourite lunch in Kenya. Dinner is also excellent, and a bit more intimate as it's not a buffet. More warm dishes that suit...

The KES 2,500 buffet lunch had one single warm dish which was non-veg: despite us having booked for vegetarians too. The rest three salads and two starters. Very disappointing considering the price tag. All options were tasty, though. Some may enjoy the view but I personally found it very sleepy and tepid: basically overlooking a big lawn with some wildebeests...

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are quite large. Ours contained 2 queen seize beds. The beds were OK but not super comfortable. Maybe the matrasses could be renewed? The rooms itself were nicely decorated and there's an outside sitting area where you can view the wildlife that roams around the sanctuary. The...

This is a great location with great accommodation in converted old stables. You feel as if you are in the wilderness. Animals are free to roam around and for example we woke up one morning with a Giraffe on our patio. Loads of monkeys, zebras, giraffes to be seen. Also really worth taking the boat tour on the lake to...

A very beautiful lake, full of wildlife, highly recommended for bird watching, but also with hipos, giraffes, wildebeest and zebras. We slept in nice safari tents near the lake and in the middle of the animals.

What a beautiful place!!! We spent a weekend there in June. Accomodation is arranged in a rebuilt stable and the rooms are very nice. Each room has a small porch with a nice view including giraffes, gazelles, buffaloes, zebras and wildebeast. It is possible to take a ride around the properties as well. Half board includes a lovely breakfast on...

A viewing tower cum restaurant gives one the chance to sip on a coffee (or something stronger ) and watch animals go by. There are zebra, wildebeest and water buck a-plenty and so the odd giraffe and buffalo wandering by if you are lucky. It's a good place to unwind after a morning in the gorges of Hells Gate.
