Lets face it, it was cold in the tent. And we didn't get enough blankets. The madras was old and the tents smelled terrible. I had hard sleeping because of other drunk guests. The service in the restaurant was poor, sometime you could wait for a 40 minutes or more for a ordered meal. And the dj-started at 6 am... More

We stayed in a banda (4 beds, private bathroom) for 3 nights at the lower camp. It was right on the water where the hippos come up to graze in the evening (separated by an electric fence, don't worry). The food was incredible, the staff so helpful and friendly with cheap eats and cold beer. We even rented bicycles one... More

Had an awesome time at the place. Has a spectacular view of the Lake Naivasha and you could see the hippo roaming out at night. They have a pub that is fair in terms of beer prices. However their Breakfast took forever to be served.

I stayed at the Kongoni banda at Fishermans Top Camp with my family for a single night in late June. Top camp was an awful experience. My fault for misunderstanding the website. Did not realize Top Camp meant a dirty, subpar experience and a thorny walk to the lake. I wish I were exaggerating. On the phone I was sold... More

Camp site on the lake is beautiful and great views from the top camp. Relaxing place to stay for a few days with good day trips on offer. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money in Naivasha.

Visitors have the option of either camping or hiring self contained cottages. We hired Kasuku cottage which comes with 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6) a fully equipped kitchen, large veranda and a self contained bathroom. Each cottage has a private bonfire area and visitors buy the logs should they want a bonfire. We were able to minimize costs by buying our... More

This camp had different accomodations. They had camping with possibility to rent a tent, but dont expect more than a thin matress and a blankett when renting. I recommend renting a cottage because the price difference is so small. Beautiful scenery with plenty of hippos along the lake. There was a lot of activities. The food was great and the... More

Stayed at the top camp away from the rowdy teenagers and others at the bottom camp. Cottage called Kwazi overlooks the lake and is in its own compound. Basic set up. Self catering with some cultlery and crockery. Also some old book. Ideal for getting away. Self barbecue can be done. Small Fridge.

Campsite was lovely. Brought my own tent and sleeping bag (rented from this guy- 0710917191) . I should have rented out a mattress because I felt like I was literally sleeping on the ground. Friendly staff, helped with setting up the tent and starting the camp fire. The restaurant had yummy but overpriced meals- I saw some groups make their... More
