Ww all loved this place, private huts surrounded by lush vegetation, overlooking the lake. Home to so many birds, we could easily have spent a whole day in the grounds. The swahili curry was excellent as was all the food and the staff were lovely. Ideal for bird lovers and people looking for some peace and quite with great views.

Whenever my family is in need of a quick r and r, naivasha is the nearest place to go. After sampling various campsites we all settled on camp carnelleys as our favorite place. For many good reasons some being: the peace and quiet, they do not allow loud boisterous guests, nor loud music. It's the campsite closest to the lake,... More

Amazing place where you can camp or rent a banda if you do not have your tent with you. The restaurant and cafe is a great place to relax hang around (Including campfire and huge pillows) and have breakfast/lunch/dinner/drinks. The menu is very diverse (e.g. kenyan food, italian). The camp is next to lake naivasha and offers boat trip to... More

We stayed in the more basic accommodation. It had electricity( 1 socket) and lighting. The toilets and showers were 30 metres away and shared. However, you can stay in more luxury lodges which looked amazing. The bar and restaurant area was also lovely. It had chill out areas and fire pit with table tennis table and volleyball area. In addition,... More

Tour guide's 4WD had an accident and as result arrived late at night. We called ahead to book meals but kitchen was shut by 9pm. No options were available other than cold drinks and we slept with an empty, cold stomach. The hot showers and quiet surroundings helped. Breakfast was ample and service good. Booked boat ride US$30 for 1hr... More

This is one of the ideal place one may want to be. Close to the lake, great interiors and good food If you are in a group the bandas are the place to stay in. the twin rooms do not have attached toilets. It is pitch dark at night and one shoudl carry a torch. The restaurant has good food.... More

In the room me an my father shared as we were with a group. we were shown a room with no towels yet everyone else had stuff provided. Yet everyone else was in a banda. we asked where the toilets were as in our room was 2 single beds and a set of shelves and mosquito nets that was it.... More

When I first wanted to book, I was told they still had lake-side bandas available. I responded 20 min. later by e-mail and then suddenly the reply was that these were gone. I think that they already messed up the bookings there. However, they offered me a NEW twin room with a double bed and what we got was an... More

Stayed in a banda and it was ideal for a family of 4. Great location on the lake and you can hear the hippos at night. Food is really goid and there are heaps of things to do whike waiting for food to arrive, love the indoor fire in the middle of the restraunt. Location is ideal for hells gate... More

I like that they serve hot drinks in thermal flasks so you can keep the warmth for longer on chilly evenings TV had broken down over a month before and hadn't been fixed. The fireplace in the restaurant looked lovely but filled the room with smoke. Sweeping the floor while customers are eating is surreal and disgusting. We were surprised... More
