Right next to Lake Naivasha, this resort has amazing views, wildlife everywhere, great staff, large comfortable rooms, and an excellent buffet. Looking out our balcony, we saw zebras, Thompson gazelle, and hippos. One of their security staff took us on a mini safari to see the family of giraffes and meet that evening to see the hippopotamus grazing on the resort grounds. No air conditioning but we had a fan that made the room comfortable. TV and Wi-Fi was good in the room. Highly recommend this resort!

We stayed here only for a night. It has a huge spread for buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner . Serves local delicacies too. The staff is friendly and very approachable . They escort you to the hotel room in the nights as animals keep moving in and around the property . We enjoyed our stay here .

The setting around Sopa was beautiful. It was great to have Zebra's, Hippo's and other animals walking around the lodge. Our rooms were spacious and clean and the food was REALLY amazing. We came from a Safari Camp and in the end that fits our desires better than a lodge, but if you want to visit Lake Naivasha (which is beautiful) and stay in a lodge, this is a great place to be!!

Sopa was good. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly. Lots of friendly animals to see. However, we had 3 rooms. 2 were good but 1 not so good. Housekeeping team to pull their socks. Overall, 7.5/10.

We didn't stay overnight at Sopa Lodge, we just popped in to use the swimming pool and have some lunch/drinks. BEAUTIFUL! We went back the day after to spend whole afternoon there. There are animals everywhere, amazing walks down to the lake, 3 amazing swimming pools (kids, slightly deeper fun pool, and serious swimming pool). The food is great, the service is great, and the hotel is just stunning. There is a gym, pool table, table tennis, volleyball, badminton and tennis courts! The changing rooms are very clean and have 2 hot showers for those using the pool. If I had more money I would 100% stay at this hotel.

The Team all the way from Executive Management, Reservation,Front Office, Service, Housekeeping and Security really made our stay feel at home. The Service staff in restaurant remembered our kids and it really made us feel at home. Really enjoyed our stay with the wonderful gardens to walk with the resident animals as well as a walk along the entrance where you can see the graceful giraffes. Very beautiful location to enjoy with Family. Kudos to all the staff who made our stay wonderful.

We had an amazing time staying here. The pool was beautiful and there were birds and zebras nearby. We sat on our patio and watched the zebras graze 20 feet away. The electric fence made us feel very safe at night. The cottages were stunning. The staff was so friendly - Julius in particular was in absolute delight every time we ran into him throughout our stay. There was an issue with our booking that they graciously resolved and we ended up in a larger suite. We would send all of our family and friends here.

Stayed one night as part of a Safari. All the Sopa Lodges we stayed at were very good but this was the best. Truly beautiful location right on the shore of the lake. Great rooms and facilities. Friendly, welcoming staff and we got to see a baby hippo on our way back to our lodge after dinner. Cannot recommend highly enough

Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge is breath taking. The staff, from the moment we arrived, were so welcoming. We were given a scented hot towel to refresh ourselves on arrival, and a lovely cool drink. Setting the tome for our stay. Surrounded by the most stunning environment and wildlife. Their gardens should win a prize (actually , the people who maintain it) EVERY single person was so genuine and kind, from security getting in, to reception, bar and restaurant and shop staff, drivers, cleaners, and everyone we didn't see, but did a wonderful job. This hotel is fantastically luxurious. It is all so welcoming, clean and lovely. The room and views breath taking. Passing zebra, waterbuck, giraffe on the way to our rooms. The whole site is breath taking, their lush gardens all around you, comfortable, spacious communal areas. The showers fantastic (urging tourists to watch their water use, as Kenya suffers a huge drought, please be considerate). The lounge, dining and breakfast areas are clean and super welcoming. And where ever we went, staff gave us such a nice time. A lady at reception and our mum made a very special connection. Peter, our waiter went beyond and above his duties , making our stay extra special and like home. So did Nicholus and staff cooking our breakfast. The buffet/ menu is amazing, so much to chose from and all delicious. Swimming pool is fantastic and has a children's pool. Thank you all, for making our stay so special. Asante Sana, from Mama Nona, Victoria, Fynn and Elizabeth (Netherlands/ Scotland)
