Wonderful and friendly service - we felt the reception service took rather long, but the tented rooms are lovely, clean with a spacious bathroom and lovely hot showers. Very comfortable beds! The rooms are quite close to each other though, and you can hear (or be disturbed by) your neighbours' conversations. The location is just the best I've found in... More

Our guide got lost trying to find the resort and engaged a local on a moped to guide us there. Myself and other members of the group I was with were beginning to wonder where we were being taken. I suspected the worst when were being taken down dirt tracks full of pot holes and surrounded by shanty town style... More

It is a bit disconcerting as you travel down a rutted dirt road through a poor area of Kisumu to get to the Kiboko Bay Resort. As you enter through the manned gate, it is as if you are entering into another world. The Resort is a collection of thatched roof tent cabins on the shore of Lake Victoria. The... More

Stayed 4 days ago. It was my first time at this tented camp on the shores of lake Victoria. I arrived late in the evening and Njeri at the front office was very friendly allowed me to have a late check out as my flight was late in the evening the next day. They upgraded us to the deluxe room... More

Right on Lake Victoria, Kiboko Bay was a great place to stay. Our tent was clean, well stocked with snacks or toiletries in case visitors forget, and had options for free wifi. There the lake to take in or the pool to enjoy. Boat tours are available and the restaurant serves a variety of really great dishes. Breakfast was included... More
