The staff is superb. They were among the friendliest staff I encountered in my 30 day stay in Ghana. That includes everyone in all,are of the hotel.
The food is very good to excellent. The chef even made me a beef stir fry one evening which was delicious.
The pool is large and well cared for.
My room was large and very pleasant as was the bathroom.
It is certainly the very best option,in Ku,as I and the location is quiet.

Restaurant is nice. Food quality is good. They have happy hour but the waiter tried to avoid serving us during happy hour and informed that draught beer is the only option for happy hour and stock is over. When I mentioned that I saw somewhere that other options are also there then he mentioned yes guinessse is there. They have no list of happy hours drinks for guests.
I am a new loyalty member and my online card is not showing loyalty number so they didn't give me any discount on food and beverages.
The landscape of hotel is good. Generally staff are pleasant and treat guests with respect. Also they helped me by giving hotel slipper when I asked for slipper as I forgot to pack my slipper. They should follow what they announced for happy hour and loyalty discounts for restaurant.
Let's see what this group of hotel does further. Using it for the first time, and may use it again depeneding on their response to this.
The shower had very low water pressure. The buffet costs twice as much as any main course from the a la carte menu, which is quite absurd. The staff wasn't very nice either... Not worth the money in my opinion
Regarding breakfast. We're still in the middle of a pandemic. Rather than offering solely a buffet, an a la carte menu should also be offered. Not everyone is comfortable eating from a buffet even outside of a pandemic.
I, however, commend the waitstaff (particularly at the bar area) who were very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely return to eat or have drinks inside or poolside. But would skip an overnight stay.
It's fine consistently worse in the last year... From belowb average to be bad.
1. Old broken down lounge and rooms and furniture. Lighting in the room is like being in a cave
2. Service is atrocious, slow, "as a matter of fact" attitudes.
3. Internet is horrific. Spotty and slow in every room in both wings. Internet from your phone is better.
4. Food is exactly the same every day, breakfast and dinner. Greasy, rice, sausages are actually hot dogs. Lol. After a week the grease will probably upset your stomach. No veggies to speak of. Always always carrots, onions and some light green vegetable.
5. Room cards de magnetize After a few hours. So you have to line up and get a new one every time you're out. Very frustrating after a team of 4 returns from the work site.
The only reason they are busy is because there's little to no choice in the area. Imo
Initially I would say that the hotel was subjected to water damage and they tried to maintain the carpeting after the fact. However that doesn’t explain the carpet smell and stains on the 4th floor. The rooms and linens were questionable and overpowered by the smell of dirty carpet. The front desk is non responsive and aloof to the concerns, exhibited by the young lady texting through our conversation. There is not a single positive thing I can say about this hotel. I recommended the tour group we used take it out of their options. I would rather sit on a bus for 5 hours than stay there again.
Early morning's buffet breakfast is one of the best with all kinds of meals at our disposal. I'd had double servings. And enjoyed the atmosphere. It's pretty much convenient for a pass through and to have a peaceful day ready to roll.
Golden Tulip Hotel does live up to their name when it comes to excellent hospitality services.
Thankfully Evans from sales department was there to help me acquaint with the familiarities of the place. Aside that everyone of the waiters around were just so nice and homely.
