We were here in late March after travelling for hours from Tamale. The neighbourhood seems to be posher than other parts of Kumasi from looking outside the car. The rooms in this establishment are set up, like another reviewer said, like chalets. We got the cheapest double room- the unique double - for 200 cedis (including breakfast) and it was... More

If you are looking for cheap, humble accommodations...you're in luck. This place is in need of a serious make over. Everything is OLD and DIRTY. The bathroom is so old that the sink and tub are pink...yep, I said PINK. The kitchen is FILTHY!!! There is a small refrigerator that is dirty inside. The Internet is constantly disconnecting. Don't even... More

No not a retirement home for aged employees of the restaurant trade but a rather fine chalet style hotel resort right in the heart of Kumasi. It is a wonderful walled sanctuary keeping out all the noise and chaos of Kumasi so effectively that birdsong prevails while you take your sundowner. There is a separate restaurant within the complex serving... More

This was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Ghana. It has nice and green ground, large rooms /suites and friendly service. It is also possible to have your laundry done at very low prices. It still is not perfect - the rooms could be cozier, the breakfast better, etc. Still, for Ghanaian standards it makes... More

My two sons and I picked the "executive suite" which was the most expensive thinking that it would provide the comfort we needed, but it was an absolute disappointment. The furniture were totally worn out and dirty and the bathroom, which was very spacious, had not been cleaned in a while, with insects and bugs all over the shower floor.... More

I spend one day here on my way back from the lake to Accra. The room was clean and large with a good airco unit. The tv had bad reception though and the Internet was so slow it was practically unusable. Breakfast is very basic. The strong plus of this hotel is the location and the nice green setting. They... This hotel is located very close to the kumasi fort and is well situated to visit the town. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The "double" room was however actually two single beds that could not be joined up. The hotel staff were nice but not very clued up though as when we tried to book they said they... More

I visited my parents in Kumasi after almost 7 years outside Ghana. On my last day in town, I was invited to this hotel for lunch. It was simply too good to be true. I had a local dish: yam and plantain with spinach stew. The food was lovely, Staff were nice and professional. I later tried the khebab and... More

Reasonably-priced hotel in a quiet spot, only steps from downtown. Good-sized, clean room and bathroom. Free wifi and access to computers. Service at the restaurant was sometimes slow (slower than the usual slow) but the food was always good. All in all, good bang for your buck.

Our group of 6 stayed here 2 nights (October 2012) and found it a pleasant and comfortable option for accommodations in Kumasi. There are a series of quaint units nestled in gardens in a quiet walled setting. Our room had cold AC, a mini fridge, fast free wifi, hot water and great water pressure in the huge shower, and comfortable... More
