Philip and Susan are great hosts. I enjoyed spending time with them and their family. They really take good care of you. And Philip has an excellent sense of humour! The food Susan prepared is simple but copious. The bungalows are basic but comfortable. The amenities are rustic but clean. It is worth taking a jungle walk to the river...

Philip & Susan will look after you very well here. Alfred will take you up to the volcano however the entry has a fee of about 3000vt (this is shared by 2 villages) Ask to go up to the volcano late afternoon & watch it as it gets dark (take a torch !!') I've stayed here twice & loved it....

There are regular tours of the volcano via truck but I recommend walking up & down it (if you ask...

The bungalows are simple but okay, shower and toilet are outside and electric power is only one hour per day – he was...

Like the other reviews say this is great family family place to stay if you want to see the real Tanna... But the main news I add is that they have got a website up so that you can find more info.. www.volcanoviewvanuatu.com For local excellence and culture this is the place to stay!!

This is not a 5 star motel, it is a local family run business with only 2 bungalows, basic but clean. Philip, Susanne and the rest of the family are really lovely people, and would want to show you the best they can offer. They cook nice local food for you. I really enjoyed my time there as I could...
