As mentioned the staff meant everything here. The hostel was pretty basic. Nice pool. Not super upscale or modern but had a good vibe a feel in that classic hostel kind of way. I'm sure the place would have many many amazing stories and experiences from people traveling through there. Beds were clean and had fans in the dorms. I should have gotten A/C but that's my fault. Rooms and facility was certainly clean but also worn (I'll again call it personality). Nice backyard chill area and pool and hammocks. The staff was so helpful in assisting me in navigating the town, my stay there, and help with my journey onwards. Without the staff, I would have been pretty lost.

It is a great hostel, very chill and great atmosphere. I enjoyed specially the large pool and the harmocks. As an improvent could be cool have some more activities on the hostel, like parties. I understand the neirborhood would not appreciate much but I would :D

Its a very nice family run Hostal, from where you can book very good tours aroud and inside the Jungle and the Amazonas. The rooms and the common areas are very clean. The hamocks and a pool offer nice places for chill out and the Guys working there are genuinly kind and fun to hang out with. I can recommend it 100%

Great place to stay in Leticia. Stayed in private room. Jose and his brother run a very homely and relaxed hostel with kitchen facilities and large outdoor clean pool. Rooms are decent size with fans. No hot water available (standard in all of Leticia) and internet not great in the location. Do not expect good internet in Leticia. Also highly recommend their Amazon tours - i did the 3 day, 2 nights. Accom with local families, meals and excursions were great and professionally managed. As a solo traveller Jose helped organise me a group of 4 guests for an improved price which was helpful!

My stay at La Casa de Las Palmas was definitely one of the highlights of my trip in Colombia! The hostel works with local indigenous people to make your stay and tours 100% ethical & authentic.The quietness and the pool make it a perfect spot to chill out for a few days after a jungle tour, will go back for sure!

Very friendly staff, enough bathrooms, small breakfast included, swimming pool for chill out and perfect atmosphere Only showers could be improved. They can also provide you with tours around the jungles. Closest accommodation to the airport but also few min walking to the center of Leticia

Jose, the owner of the hostel, ad the rest of the employees were very quick to helping me get accommodated in wonderful Leticia. The tour agency was very friendly, I booked a 4 day amazon trip through the hostel and received one of the best experiences I had in my life! The hostel itself is very well maintained and the breakfast is filling. Rooms were spacious and the pool area was were I spent most of the time. Highly recommend for any type of visit, the diversity there is just great!

The staff were really attentive before and during the stay. We booked the Amazon experience through the hostel and any questions we had were answered in good time. The hostel itself was clean and close to the town centre. The rooms were a little hot at night, but this is down to personal preference.

La Casa de las Palmas is the place to be in Leticia. I was traveling alone and instantly found a bunch of individual travellers hanging out there. Leticia is a great tiny town to spend a few days. The staff at the hostel organized the most amazing tour through the jungle for me and the other travellers. Loved the pool site and the location. Highlight of my 2 months in Colombia without a doubt (excluding Old Providence of course .. ;) ) Absolutely recommended!
