We spent a very enjoyable night in the hotel, the staff did spend a significant time to prepare our honeymoon suite with rose petals everywhere, and other decoration/gifts. They were very nice with us. The suite was really well decorated, old fashioned with nice wood furnitures. As for others, it was really cold in the room, even with the additional... More

I stayed here for one night in mid-February and used the hostel as a base for a half-day trip to the salar / salt flats. The location is good, and its architecture is definitely another plus. The WiFi is extremely fast and stable. The breakfast was simple but fresh, and once they turned on the pump water pressure in the... More

Unfortunately, it was New Year's Eve so not a lot of rooms in this small town. The only good thing was that my room was in the back and I didn't hear the all night party going on across the street. The owner was apathetic and not at all welcoming. The room itself was in poor condition. I had to... More

Uyuni is a strange little place but with a certain amount of charm. Don't plan on staying long here though-one night is enough! We stayed here both before and after our salt flats trip (which was awesome.) The hotel had massive potential- our room was great, traditionally decorated, huge bed and TV. However that's where the good stuff ends. The... More

We stayed one night and even if we were not expecting much comfort from such a remote place, well this hotel is even lower then our low expectations . The hotel (or BB) is in the center of pueblo and nothing much around. Restaurant was closed so we skipped dinner / breakfast starts at 730 even if tours have to... More

First of all, the room was clean and nice and we did get hot water, contrary to other reviews. Thats where it stopped. The heater for the size of the room was grossly in-adequite and we would have been better off with a hair dryer, plus im quite sure they turned the gas off in the middle of the night... More

Hotel Magia de Uyuni is really a magic hotel: things there disappear very easily... At the reception a group of four organized robbers entered the hotel through the front door left open and stole my new expensive camera while I was registering at the counter. The scene was recorded by two videocameras, one inside, one outside. In the video I... More

We stayed at La Magia for 2 nights, before and after our salt flats tour. Our booking was for $20/night however upon check-in, the clerk said not the price is actually $70. I even pulled out the printed copy of our booking. And the clerk insisted that that was incorrect. I had to email the booking agency to clarify the... More

The hotel is very comfortable. Good breakfast although was served late. The hotel is a bit overpriced but so is everything in Uyuni. Good Wifi. The staff was friendly and our two rooms were very large and spotless.

This was the better of the two places in which we stayed in Uyuni. We had a large room, it was clean and quiet, but nothing special. The location was good, although Uyuni is a small town and everything in the town is fairly close. All in all, a forgettable stay, although for one night it was satisfactory.
