Good location, great price at $20 (US) per night, for a very comfortable private room with bathroom. The hostel is very clean and well maintained. The staff, including the owner and the cleaner/breakfast server were great, very helpful and extremely friendly, that's how you run a hostel! The wifi worked well everywhere. The common areas are comfortable, including an outdoor...

Lovely hostel in a convenient location close to the central square and walking distance from some lovely wine farms. Rolo the owner was so kind and accomodating, he even got me medicine when I was sick. The bed was comfortable, shower hot with great pressure, everything was very clean, decent WiFi and delicious homemade bread for breakfast. Definitely highly recommend...

" We loved it here. The owner Rollo was fantastic and very helpful. The room was comfortable and the homemade bread at breakfast was the best we've had. It's close to lots of worries (piattelli is highly recommended for wine and lunch). They do laundry too but count your items as a dress went awol! Rollo found it in the...

We stayed in a double room for 2 nights. It was clean and comfy. The ensuing was clean and the shower nice and hot. Wifi was very good. The free breakfast in the morning was simple, but the bread they gave you was soooooo nice. Not the usual dried crumbly stuff. We used the kitchen one night to make dinner....

The hostal is adorable: simple but clean and cozy. An excellent choice if you are looking for a cheap staying. The breakfast was different from others places, not fancy but with fresh home made bread. Rolo is a great host, he gave us good tips for places to visit and a nice chat about politics in Latin America

We only stayed here for 1 evening but it was great the room was big and had an en suite which was cool as we didn't pay much for the room. The hosts were really friendly and booked us a tour which was personalised to our time schedule. Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay at Lo Morada. From the moment we arrived Fabi and Rolo (the owners) made us feel completely welcome and continued to help us throughout our stay. Fabi let my wife use her jacket when we lost ours on the bus, then took us shopping at the cheap local shops to replace it. We had a...

We planned to stay for only one night after pre-booking bus tickets to Bolivia but when we realised how nice Cafayate is, wanted to stay longer. As my Spanish is bad, Rolo was so helpful and called a hundred numbers to get through to the bus company, he sent my tickets back to Salta to be changed and also called...

This Hostal isn't the largest - which is part of its charm. Rolo & Fabiana are the most warm and welcoming hosts.. Rolo makes the most amazing fresh bread for breakfast and is a pleasure to chat with; always full of information and tips. Great location and quiet if thats your thing!..

“Beds that sleep four are normally a double and two singles, but they can move beds around to accommodate, so be sure to mention when you book. Travelling in July is holiday season which is peak season for kids, and hence a little bit of noise.”
