K and I spent a weekend touring the Ozarks looking at the fall colors. The Cliff House has 4 bedrooms and one suite over looking the Arkansas Grand Canyon. It rustic and romantic as you stand integrity balcony outside the rooms or on the observation deck. I believe you can see a bazillion stars at night. The hotel is not... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Cliff House several times. The view is spectacular overlooking Arkansas's Grand Canyon. Before the inn sold, guests were served fresh coffee left outside their room. New owners do not offer that service. When my husband suggested it, new owner replied no way. Such a shame. The rooms are nice and rustic with... More

The Cliff House Inn has beautiful views of the Arkansas Grand Canyon. The room we stayed in was rustic (which my husband and I like). The bed was extremely comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The food was okay. The owner was a bit unfriendly when asked about having coffee brought to our room. We... More

We stayed at the Cliff House Inn. The scenery and deck was an awesome experience. The room was smelly and had a hard time sleeping at night. Every breathe was a struggle for my nose. The stink came from the bathroom and carpets. The bed was clean though. Not sure if I would pay $80-$100 for that, maybe $60.

If you're touring north central Arkansas, this small hotel and restaurant is a must. Quiet and well kept with interesting travelers passing through, very good food and some of the most spectacular scenery in the state.

I like to stay here once a year when I need to relax and take time to think. It is quiet and the rooms are comfortable but I go especially for the scenery and food. There is a deck where you can look out over Arkansas' Grand Canyon. The restaurant also overlooks the same area. If you really want to... More

We stayed in Wolf Cabin, which has a terrific view and is very cozy. It sleeps six, but it was just my husband and I traveling, so plenty of room for the two of us. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and pointed us in the right direction to see the Elk, Steel Creek, Lost Valley,... More

The owners were extremely nice and the view fantastic. The rooms were for sleeping only. Very small, but rustic. The carpet in our room was stained and worn. Bathroom very tiny. No electric plugs for hairdryer. Food in the restaurant was very good. The view from the porch was great. All in all not a bad place, but not sure... More

The Inn is a good rustic retreat and made a great place to base day trips to Ponca, Jasper and driving loops including HWY 7. Restaurant had surprisingly good food. We came in with no reservation on a Friday night and they accommodated us with a standard room the first night and the Suite the 2nd and 3rd nights. Standard... More
