We stayed two nights at the Old Stonehouse and it was our first experience with a B&B and we loved it. We were looking for a place where we could relax, no stress, and enjoy ourselves and we found them all here. We stayed in the Becca room which also had its own entrance in the back of the house.... We enjoyed our one night stay at the Old Stonehouse. We had never stayed in a B&B before and thought we would give it a try. We liked the location because we could walk to the Cruiser restaurant which had live music which was nice. The noise from the railroad, street, and grandfather clock did wake me a couple if times.... We enjoyed our cozy room, delicious breakfast, and perfect location. We didn't notice the train during the night and we both slept soundly. We were there in January and enjoyed ourselves. We want to go back in the spring. We parked at the Old Stone House and walked up and down Main Street. We are planning another trip to Hardy... More

We so enjoyed our stay! We spent three nights in Leah's Room at Olde Stonehouse while visiting family. Vicki is a wonderful hostess. The breakfast was tasty and she accommodated my gluten allergy. The train went by often but the bed was so cozy I hardly heard it. My only recommendation is, if you enjoy shopping for antiques you will... More

Contrary to other experiences at this b&b, we had a delicious breakfast of fruit, yogart and blueberry pancakes. We were the only guests and we took advantage of the large deck outside our room to relax in the evening with a glass of wine and write postcards. It was a bit disappointing that the season was drawing to a close... More

The owner was nice but that was all. The room was clean but very small. The bathroom was a converted closet, tiny. I asked about the breakfast and was told sausage scrambled eggs and hash browns were the choice. But since we didn't eat sausage or scrambled eggs we didn't have any choice except to go out for breakfast. We... More

We stayed at the Olde Stonehouse B&B for an anniversary getaway. "Becca's room" was comfortable, and it was convenient to have our own entrance. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening and listening to the purple martins chatter. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed talking with Vickie.

It was a working vacation for us. My husband was playing at the nearby Words and Afterwords and this B & B came highly recommended. We stayed upstairs in Grandpa's room and my in-laws joined us and stayed downstairs. We spent most of our time in the charming front room. Ms. Vickie was a perfect hostess, sharing the fascinating hIistory... More

We were warmly welcomed with a tour of the house and refreshments. Our room was upstairs (Hatties room). It was appropriately decorated with hats and the times of the era of the home's beginning. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the other guests. Lunch was included next door and was very good. Breakfast was great and the company wonderful. We were... More
