It's a good hotel where you can stay for some days. The food is local, the service is traditionally slow. English is spoken, but not in the restaurant. The most amazing thing is a terrace. You can see almost the whole city from where.

This is definitely one of the better hotels in "downtown" Tafraout. It is clean and comfortable with a pleasant and very quiet sitting area in its lobby and a cafe and restaurant downstairs thst has simple food. There is no swimming pool, spa or hammam. The views from the upper terrace of the surrounding mountains are amazing. A number of... More

Half the price of most riads, a little dated but rooms clean and a reasonable size. Breakfast available in ground floor cafe or elsewhere in the town. Good wifi. We think best rooms are over the square with a small balcony and view of the mountains. Evening meals locally are limited but we found a great option - water and... More

Stopped here for three nights whilst cycle touring. Although they were "full" they managed to fit me into a room where the air-con was broken (hey, it was April, not a big deal). Ended up staying an extra night, which can't be bad!

On to day 12 of a month in Morocco, Hotel Salama fit the bill for a fair priced, clean, friendly stay. Parking... in January... at the doorstep, about 1 euro. The views from our room were good and the room was of modest but not a small size. OK to good WC/Shower room. Centrally located, pretty roof top terrace, too... More

After arriving in Tafraoute and hoping to stay in an alternative establishment (that sadly did not work out), we were so glad to find Hotel Salama. The staff were extremely friendly upon check-in we were able to park the car right outside the hostel which was a huge bonus! Great bedroom and en-suite facilities with a TV in the room.... More

Hotel Salama was a pleasant hotel, well situated in the town centre with paid parking available. Meals were available and rooms and beds were comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Overall a good choice for a couple of nights.

... with friendy staff, affordable (27dh) and good breakfast. Located in the center of Tafraout. The market, lots of shops and bike rentals are within 50 meters. Guarded parking lot in front of the hotel costs 10dh per night. Free and fast WiFi available.

We have spent one night in Hotel Salama. Everything was perfect! It was nice to spend some time in ordinary european hotel and relax from Moroccan riads. The rooms was spacious, clean, the wifi was really good. That is great value for a price. Breakfast is not included, but it cost like 20 dh or something like that and it... More

For the price, we thought this hotel was a great deal. The room was clean and spacious, and the position overlooking the little square in the middle of Tafraoute was great. The staff were friendly and were happy to answer any questions, and juggled a few rooms for us as they were full the day after we arrived with no... More
