Stayed for 3 nights during cycling tour of the area, check in was friendly and the room was clean and tidy, the bed was a little on the hard side and wifi was only available in the hotel reception area. Food was good with huge portions, breakfast was typical continental style and fresh juice. There was an outdoor pool and... More

Price/value absolutely good. Breakfast was fair. In general the hotel was clean and big enough but had its height more than a decade ago. View from room was very nice as the hotel is on a small hill and overlooks the valley. They also organized us a tour guide very quickly.

This is the best hotel in Morocco , don't listen to the townies and bimbos , listen to the world wise folks who have been to Africa and been pampered by the staff here. The views are stunning, the sheets and towels are clean the pool is lovely and the breakfasts are great. What more do you want!!!!

After spending several nights travelling in Morocco this was my least favourite hotel. The rooms are mediocre and the beds sooooo hard it made it tough to sleep. The shower head didn't have a long enough cord to hang it up and there was no shower curtain. Service was so so in both the bar and restaurant. Breakfast was the... More

Stayed two nights on a G Adventures tour. Les Amandiers was built by the government over a half-century ago to draw tourism to the area, and it does have a certain institutional look and feel even today. Having said that, the hotel is impressive, massive with thick walls, sitting on a hill overlooking Tafraoute, which is an easy walk down... More

Hotel Les Amandiers is a fantastic stay. Yes its a little more expensive than the neighbouring hotels but, so what, The staff are great. They look after you and they have a pool and a bar. The food in the hotel is of good quality but a little expensive for Tafaroute. However you expect to find this in such a... More

Interior of hotel is very dark and dingy. Hotel needs to be painted and brightened up. There was no heat in the salon, and it was cold while we were there. We stayed in a room in the courtyard part and the furnishings were so sparse that the room felt like an old time hospital room. The beds were extremely... More

Visited as part of a cycling tour. Rooms were clean, staff hospitable, especially in dining room. Small bar although drinks could be taken out onto terraces. Nice (but cold in December) pool. nicely situated above the small town of Tafraout, not to much noise from Mosques great views especially at sunrise and sunset. Evening meals were plentiful and good, especially... More

We had the great pleasure of spending two nights at this wonderful hotel overlooking Tafraout. It was built in 1958 and radiated the faded charme of the 50s with some updates to modern times. WIFI in the hotel and in the rooms is one of them. I really like this hotel which is so full of traditional charme and has... More

Great location and fabulous views from this hotel especially by the pool. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Bedroom was very dated and the whole hotel looks very tired. Room was clean apart from the floor mats which were pretty filthy. Air con seemed to be either on or off but at least it worked and was quiet. Breakfast... More
