This was by far the most beautiful place we stayed at during our Morocco tour. The house is a restored clay house that still has all the comfort you need. The decoration is simply beautiful. All the rooms are a sight to see. There is a terrace with a great view for relaxing and eating. The food was great. Right... More

I'm happy we went there, nice roof terrace, really smart owner and his father working in the museum next door, and there is also hidden villages more up the mountain, real nice.Internet works a bit farther away from the mountains. I had nice walks there.

We stayed here on our way from the desert to the ocean, just an overnighter. But it was charming, remote and traditional. It was very inexpensive and we had a relaxing night. The view was great. And the prayers in the evening and morning were wonderful. They have an interesting museum attached to the lodgings.

What a place! A family keeps those six rooms ánd the traditional house nextdoor, now museum. The last 500 m are only accesible by foot, crossing a (dry) river. So we left our luggage in the car and only brought our toothbrushes and a clean pair of knickers :) The walk through the leftovers of the old village and her... More

This small guesthouse really is very special. It is situated in a stunning scenery. You have to walk the last couple of hundreds of meters to get there, which also secures the silence and the peace you find, once there. The guesthouse and a small museum right next door describing ancient berber housing and way of living, is run be... More

Rachid and his young family are running a superb little guest house in a truly idyllic setting, backed by the granite wall of the Anti-Atlas mountains. The rocks glow pink in the dying rays of the sun, the muezzin's call floats across the valley and the glorious smell of great home-cooked food fills you with anticipation at the end of... More

So glad we stayed here instead of dusty and noisey Tafraoute! We stayed 3 nights, and Maison Traditionelle was a scenic and comfortable base for exploring the stunning villages strung along the valley. The location is perfect for families with children. There is a lot to see and do -- a museum next door also run by the family and... More

WE stayed two nights at La Maison Traditionelle, and we liked it because it was a people-to-people experience. None of the staff spoke English, so there was a lot of hand gesturing (when our guide was not there). The accommodations are clean and basis (nothing fancy), but remember, this is in the middle of a rural area in the Anti... More
