Passing through Antisirabe, this is a perfect spot to stay. Old building, vintage decor, clean rooms, and a decent restaurant and bar. We stayed for just 1 night between Tana and Ranomafana and we were very satisfied.

Historic building with ambiance and ample rooms, hot water, a good breakfast and great wi-fi. We slept well and given its convenient location, this was a great stop on our trip which departed late morning from Antananarivo. Antsirabe itself is also pretty nice and clean with wide roads - this hotel is a great stop on a longer trip.

Le Trianon was a very welcome and warm place after a full day's driving. It has really quaint rooms with wooden floors and unique bathrooms. The ceilings are wooden and tall and the windows in the rooms in front look out into the parking and garden filled with flowers. The beds are very comfortable and cozy, though the rooms can... More

Lovely old house renovated and converted into a hotel. Large, spacious rooms with wooden floors, spotlessly clean. Friendly service and free WiFi. Adorable little breakfast room, inviting bar and a cute little restaurant with a handful of tables, and a waiter dressed in white trousers and a white vest! Beautiful old fireplace in the restaurant, and local art on the... More

A small hotel in a historic building, with comfortable, clean rooms. I had no problem with hot water for the shower or the wi-fi which is always a pleasant surprise. Rooms very reasonably priced & restaurants, & the town are all in easy walking distance.

The rooms are spatious and clean, and you have free Wifi and TV: what can you expect better for some EUR25. The breakfast is an extra and is ok. The hotel is within walking distance of the CBD, The restaurant is not part of the hotel, but can be settled with the room. On the other side of the street,... More

This is a small hotel in an old French colonial building that is reasonably maintained (especially for Malagasy standards) but it could still do with some upgrading. There are only a few rooms so reservations are recommended. It is centrally located and has its own restaurant (managed separately) where we had dinner once and that was ok but we preferred... More

Rooms with character - high ceilings, wooden floors and stairs - but equipped with mod-cons (good shower, TV, kettle & wi-fi - which was not working during our over-night stay) - central location, set slightly back from the road so fairly quiet. Good restaurant, although it would be even better if they lit the fire, and some old colonial memorabilia... More

We thought there would be a draw to staying in a old colonial hotel but we have very little positive feedback for this hotel. Pros: Good wifi connection in room (a rarity in Madagascar) Reasonably comfortable beds (for Madagascar) Cons: Dusty and smoky rooms (a problem for those with allergies) Still a cold room at night However, the worst part... I like the Trianon quite a bit -- good value (63,500-87,500 AR per room), and great charm -- sparse but interesting decor, high ceilings, lots of hard wood -- and my family and I have stayed there twice. The food is good, both breakfast and dinner, though the main restaurant is managed separately from the hotel and breakfast room. The... More
