The room was lovely as was Henriette, the manager of the hotel who is there to meet your every need and to share stories. The site is peaceful and beautiful and this place is great value for money and so highly recommend staying there.

Stayed there last year while on business trip to Tana. The setting is really cute and the premises is in a very good shape. The rooms or better cottages are simple but adorable, especially the bed with the mosquito net... not just decoration as the bugs can really get annoying. The caretaker is a very nice lady who really takes...

We stayed there in December 2016 for two nights. It is a very friendly place, the lady that looks after the property goes the extra mile to help. Food was ok, I loved hot chocolate at the lodge. It is nicely hidden away from the main road and we enjoyed the sound of Indri's in the morning. It it the...

A well thought out complex of chalets with good swimming pool. The staff were friendly and accommodating with all requests. Food was fine and a reasonable breakfast with vegetarians well catered for. Nicely located for National Park. Our chalet could have done with new mesh at the rear window but otherwise was clean and airy with abundant hot water. WiFi at...

We stayed in Grace Lodge for 2 nights, it's such a lovely quiet place to stay. Staff is extremely friendly, some of them speak English really well and can tell endless stories about Madagascar. If you're interested the gardeners can show you a lot of wildlife just on the property. Food is great, made and served with love.

Charming out-of-the way lodge near Andasibe. Very clean rooms & ground, charming staff, particularly Henriette, the manager. Away from the hustle of hotels around the Park (Andasibe) itself. Little chapel on the grounds (a low key Christian vibe to the place, like much of Madagascar).

First port of call for our visit to Madagascar. Comfortable rooms and spacious. Lovely grounds, especially if you are keen on birds. Food service quite basic but more than acceptable. Good location for the national park and lemur island

Pros Lovely staff Nice clean rooms Well kept grounds Good food Cons Dim lighting Mediocre shower If you are over 40 lighting is dim and hard to see. Flora and fauna and the location is wonderful after a long hike to see the lemurs.

An excellent small hotel. You could not find more friendly staff anywhere in Madagascar. We felt really happy here. The gardens are very pretty and the rooms spacious and really clean. The menu was fixed but the food was excellent, very tasty and well cooked. We loved every minute here

Grace Lodge is basic but secure and welcoming and the individual bungalows are comfortable and reasonably spacious. There is a bar and small dining room and the food is freshly prepared. The grounds of the Lodge are immaculate and it is wonderful to sit out on the veranda of your bungalow and listen to the Indri howling in the forest....
